Every time I go to London, I visit the Tower of London and sit in the little room below grade level, where Thomas More spent his last months. I am reminded often these days of Thomas More and King Henry VIII and the kerfuffle over Anne Boleyn. More, you see, would not sign the oath and proclaim the legitimacy of the marriage of the king to Boleyn because of the inconvenient matter of Henry’s divorce from Catherine. More, good lawyer that he was, determined that his safety resided in him saying nothing — keeping his mouth shut. For a time, it was enough.
And then it wasn’t. Only a statement affirming the marriage and the succession of children, if any, of the marriage would do. And when his devout Catholic conscience would not permit him to assent to the marriage, he found himself convicted of treason and ended up with his head on a stake on London Bridge.
I am not concerned about ending up on a stake of a Chicago bridge, but I also find myself where silence is no longer permitted by the DIE fascists who control every one, it seems, of our institutions. Compelled speech is the order, and I do mean order, of the day in every business endeavor.
And now it is June, and all institutions must proclaim their approval of and solidarity with the modern-day version of Henry’s ill begotten marriage — post the rainbow flag, everywhere and anywhere, or be considered a bigot. On corporate websites, on email, on Facebook profiles, silence is no longer okay. Only in-your-face, loud and thunderous approval of that to which you are indifferent or do not approve will be accepted. And why?
The 2SLGBTQIA+ mob need your affirmation. Like Henry, they know there are issues with the

Great post!
“You will also have no food to eat, no gas in your car, no clothes, or basically anything else. I went to Sam’s Club yesterday.”
The answer: The perfect is the enemy of the good.
I am on strike—cutting spending to the bone because it is likely that any spending is supporting the creeps.
But—I will eat and get gas and clothes when necessary.
As for discretionary spending—forget it.
Nothing major. Just a few minor quirks. It’s my problem, not his.
The symbols for the numbers 6 and 7 had meaning in the Semitic root language that Hebrew came from. The "6" meant incomplete and the "7" meant complete. So it may be that the reason 666 is chosen as the mark of the beast is because his followers follow the incomplete one, while Jesus' followers follow the complete One.
To be honest, whether or not that's true is an intellectual exercise. But what about practical application in our daily lives? I say treat the mark of the beast and the mark of Christ in Revelation as symbols of your creed and what you identify as and stand for. It's possible that Revelation puts those marks on the forehead and hand to symbolically represent what people always remember, like Moses wrote in Exodus 13:9 (perhaps a colloquial expression of the Jews when he said "This observance will be for you like a sign on your hand and a reminder on your forehead that this law of the Lord is to be on your lips. For the Lord brought you out of Egypt with his mighty hand." So it's possible that we're not talking about a situation of everybody having some kind of physical mark. It's possible we're talking about some kind of culture or government that requires people to bow to some religion or belief or creed in order to be able to buy and sell, while Christ is watching for people who choose to believe in Him enough to stick to Him like glue with a no-matter-what, no-matter-who kind of attitude.
Even if I'm wrong, even if there will one day come some literal marks of beast and marks of Christ, between now and then we should probably operate like the Revelation teaching is about which creed we stick to. Stick to the creed of the complete Jesus, not the incomplete world. Even if the world makes it hurt. In the end Jesus wins.
I wasn’t going to be ornery, just curious. I don’t know a whole lot about him other than he absolutely threw down in 2020. Right or wrong, he put it all on the table and spent a lot of money.
I was worried he was going to go out of business.
Took guts, in my opinion.

Go PROTEST WARRIORS!
The 2020 election and we see how that went down.
2ndvote.org should point you in the right direction.
Not true you can find many good businesses at 2ndvote.org. Enough with the doomsday.
Also plenty of independent businesses, you have a good shot there.
How come we don’t have our own rating organization that give bad scores to companies that promote fags and grooming and are anti free speech?
“Not true”
Okay, I’ll bite. At what patriotic conservative store do you get your gas? Clothes? Groceries?
Really. Did he ever hear about a place called Viet Nam?
What is not true is that there are NO non woke businesses.
I get my gas at Costco usually. I get clothes from none of the lines that are in the red zone in 2ndvote.org. Half I buy used. And my groceries I usually get from Luckys (still no homo promo there and I live in San Francisco!) and a Trader Joe’s.
And note I do not say these are patriotic conservative stores. Just not doing the homo promo this month in any visible way, and generally yellow or green lit at 2nd vote.

Two of the three companies you named are BIG TIME globohomo supporters. Surprise!
“Costco named most LGBT-friendly company
Netflix, Panera Bread, and Trader Joe’s also ranked highly on YouGov’s list of the most gay-friendly brands.”

Hi.
I don’t celebrate pride day, week or month.
It just doesn’t interest me.
Call me a bigot, homophobic, hate monger whatever.
I don’t care.
Heck, the president of the United States and Cankles have called me worse names.
F’em.
5.56mm
I’m don’t know who you Gov is
However Costco is a neutral/lean liberal at 2nd vote. Score 1.6
Trader Joe’s is quite neutral at 3.14
And neither one has any homo promo at their stores nor have they ever when I have been there. Perhaps they are homo friendly with their health insurance or something there I don’t know. The score at 2nd vote and my own personal experiences make my buying habits. To act as though there is no choice or better options is false.
I haven't seen that determination from our side. We do have a lot of keyboard warriors.
Remember that a great general (Patton, I think) said something like "You don't win wars by dying for your country, but by making the other poor bastard die for HIS country".
