The deluded say man is more powerful than God, or alternatively more powerful than Mother Nature, or political orthodoxy, and so on. And so man can CONTROL nature (always, of course by gaining control of other men).
T'ain't so. Consequences happen, which is a paraphrase of the shorter bumper sticker's scatological-expressed truism.

Yet more proof that the greenies will never be happy. If your area spent gazillions switching some of your load to wind power, they're coming up with an excuse to shut it down.
Just like they've come up with an excuse to ban what only recently they were calling "clean burning natural gas" and forcing power utilities to switch to.
Just like they'll change their mind yet again on nuclear.
The greenies will never be happy, so it's not worth trying to placate them.

Next thing will be banning sail boats, because, you know, they zap the wind of its energy.
Please Lord, put an end to this stupidity.

I’ve been saying that for years. If you convert wind/solar energy to electricity you’re changing the normal balance of energy in the natural ecosystem.
Didn’t these people ever watch Jurassic Park?

I have long predicted that all these wind turbines sapping energy from the atmosphere will eventually slow down the Earth’s rotation and cause it to drift from its solar orbit into outer space, extinguishing all life.
There are less than ten years left to prevent this catastrophe!
You have been warned! Give me research grants!
