Expert Prof. Gerd Ganteför Calls For More Studies On The Regional Climate Impact By Wind Turbines
Watts Up With That ^ | 01 June 2023 | P. Gosselin

The mechanism goes as follows: "Large wind turbines logically slow down the wind by sapping the energy out of it. Less wind means less evaporation and thus less precipitation. And if it gets drier, it could just happen that it gets warmer."

Bwahahaha. Green energy causes global warming.

The deluded say man is more powerful than God, or alternatively more powerful than Mother Nature, or political orthodoxy, and so on. And so man can CONTROL nature (always, of course by gaining control of other men).

T'ain't so. Consequences happen, which is a paraphrase of the shorter bumper sticker's scatological-expressed truism.

Yet more proof that the greenies will never be happy. If your area spent gazillions switching some of your load to wind power, they're coming up with an excuse to shut it down.

Just like they've come up with an excuse to ban what only recently they were calling "clean burning natural gas" and forcing power utilities to switch to.

Just like they'll change their mind yet again on nuclear.

The greenies will never be happy, so it's not worth trying to placate them.

Next thing will be banning sail boats, because, you know, they zap the wind of its energy.

Please Lord, put an end to this stupidity.

That and we now know plants increase CO2.

you said ..”The greenies will never be happy,”

Sure they will ... as soon as they stop that co2 you keep exhaling.
There is no middle ground left, anyone who can't see where we are headed is willfully ignorant.
The sad part ... it seems so simple and clear , yet so many just close their eyes, put their fingers in their ears and whistle.
Normalcy bias ... today is like yesterday so tomorrow will be like today. No comprehension of history, no inclination to learn.
well .. what cha gonna do?
....just saying ...

On the subject of the Dims' stupid energy policies, what I spent the past 2 years doing was making my wife and I as self-sufficient as feasibly possible with our energy.

The telling factor all along that the climate zealots aren’t serious about “helping” the environment is their antipathy toward nuclear power. Nuclear power is the only viable low-carbon source of reliable and plentiful electricity. However, those in power aren’t interested in the environment—they are most decidedly interested in controlling you and me and making survival as difficult as possible. To loosely paraphrase Goldfinger, they just expect us to die.

I’ve been saying that for years. If you convert wind/solar energy to electricity you’re changing the normal balance of energy in the natural ecosystem.

Didn’t these people ever watch Jurassic Park?

Chaos theory!!!

I have long predicted that all these wind turbines sapping energy from the atmosphere will eventually slow down the Earth’s rotation and cause it to drift from its solar orbit into outer space, extinguishing all life.

There are less than ten years left to prevent this catastrophe!

You have been warned! Give me research grants!
