PRESIDENT Joe Biden has bumped his head on Marine One right after suffering a hard fall at the Air Force Academy graduation.

Biden appeared to rub his head after bumping it on the helicopter's doorframe while exiting the aircraft, according to a White House pool report:

M1 landed at 7:04 pm, and the president exited a few minutes later. He bumped his head on the doorframe while exiting the helicopter but otherwise appeared spry, wearing a blue suit with a matching tie and trademark aviators. Smiling, waving, and gingerly approaching the pool, he joked I got sandbagged in reference to the fall earlier today. Then he skipped once, holding his smile, and kept walking. No response to shouted questions about whether he was okay after the fall and what he and former President Obama discussed over the phone.

He smiled it off while walking toward reporters then said: "I got sandbagged," referencing his on-stage tumble hours earlier that sparked national headlines.

That Marine standing at attention is probably grateful Uncle Joe can’t read minds. You can just imagine what he’s thinking about our stumbling, bumbling, tumbling President. But he has to keep a Poker Face anyway.

In all seriousness, I've spoken to a few in the military who were on duty years ago at various times when prior presidents walked into the room. Without exception they say that when he walks in they don't see a corrupt politician who breaks his promises like the rest of us see. All the serviceman sees at that moment is Commander-in-Chief.

Ford was an excellent athlete. He was on the University of Michigan championship football team in 1932 & 1933. In 1934 he was MVP of the team. He was offered an NFL contract with both the Lions and the Packers after graduating. He declined and attended Yale Law school instead where also was a boxing coach.
He joined the Navy during WWII and became a Naval Aviator. He was so good at it they made him a flight instructor. he eventually served in the Pacific theater.
He continued to downhill ski even through his presidency.
However, an old football injury to his knee would occasionally give out making him fall. Chevy Chase on SNL made a career out of his impersonation of Ford being a bumbling fool. FU Chevy
