As temperatures heat up, an Arizona family has a warning for other parents about the dangers of hot surfaces like pavement and concrete.
It comes after their son suffered burns to the bottom of his feet.
The pavement heats up quickly, and pets and children are particularly vulnerable when it comes to getting burned on the bottoms of their feet.
Eighteen-month-old Mason is walking softly on his feet after they were bandaged.
He suffered contact burns from the hot pavement.

And since at least half the judges are idiot libs, there’s always a decent shot at a jackpot.
Even in NY the asphalt and concrete can get hot enough to burn your feet. Animals too. Ever since my daughter’s dogs were puppies she was always very careful to let them walk only in grassy areas.
Heh, my feet in the account above were so heavily calloused due to a lifelong fungal infection I got as a kid in the Philippines, that they occasionally cracked and bled from being so heavily calloused and wouldn’t heal for weeks or months.
I nearly had bare feet like shoes in that state and was used to walking around in my bare feet, which is why, in my semi-inebriated state, it didn’t even cross my mind that the hot road would be a...thing!
I don’t even let my dog get burned like that.

Seriously? It’s Arizona. It’s freaking hot.
Adults have IQ of 85 or what?
“or they get little socks.” LOL!!
>> hot concrete
cooler than tar
Californians, I imagine.
Concrete isn’t hot in summer - blacktop (asphalt) is hot.
I would never admit it if I was that stupid.
Progressives (guaranteed they are) are incapable of embarrassment.
These mouth breathers remind me of the adults in winter, fully dressed for the cold, going into WalMart with little kids in shorts and short sleeve tees.
Concrete isn’t hot in summer - blacktop (asphalt) is hot.
Wow parents are sure stupid for letting an 18 month old to walk on hot sidewalk.. no common sense in them
It’s almost enough to make you think there should be qualification tests for common sense for would be parents.
I see too many parents who are such idiots that they take good care of themselves and dress warm in cold weather, but let their kids go out in 40 degree weather in shorts, a t-shirt, and flip flops.
At least dress the kids as warm as you do, or make them wear footwear if you wouldn’t go barefoot.
What morons.....
Try shoes
Gee, I wish I could go back are relive my life with this great knowledge...then, I would now have feet...instead of having burned them off by standing barefoot on black asphalt for hours.
And you wonder why everything has a warning label on it. Well, wonder no more. In other news, water is wet.
Do Not Taunt Happy Fun Ball!
