The father, in part, blames the aerosol manufacturers. Based upon that twisted thinking , I’m guessing he made his daughter get the COVID “vaccine.”
When I was growing up, one of the fads was to sniff model airplane glue. I built many airplanes but was never compelled to intentionally sniff glue.

Of course. It can’t be because the parents are too busy to watch what their kids are doing.

I guess we’ll just have to ban all these dangerous aerosol products then.

That’s ok since where MY KIDS go to school is TOTALLY AGAINST sniffing dangerous chemicals, so nothing for me to worry about.
By the way, how’s the Sight Words going?

Deodorant has been manufactured in solid form forever
Why in God’s name would you buy any teen Agee a spray can of anything in this day and age. I knew two boys who died as teens back in the sixties trying to get high that way

So I had to look elsewhere in order to covert “Teen girl” into “13 year old girl”. I just hate modern journalism.
Big difference between 13 and 19.

Yep, those cans get up and spray her in the middle of the night.

Huffin’ glue & paint has been arounnd for at least 50 years.
Of course, back than there was no internet/social media to make it seem fun and attractive. We could see what mental zombies the huffers turned into.

This sort of thing has been happening for a long, long time now, since way before TikTok. Idiots are going to inhale just about anything that’s in an aerosol can, and some will die from it. But the answer, of course, is to take useful and convenient products away from people who aren’t going to try to get high from sniffing them.
Morons will also inhale the fumes of practically any hydrocarbon compound to get high, even if the substance isn’t in an aerosol can. Plain old gasoline will work. It is not possible to do away with every chemical that somebody might conceivably misuse.

TikTok is evil, and it comes to us courtesy of the CCP.
Teenagers are just starting to think clearly and are vulnerable to this nonsense.

Unless the parents are drunks or drug addicts, it’s senseless to place blame on them. Mine never had to tell me not to do stupid, dangerous things. Presumably these young people have a brain and are old enough to know what risky behavior is.

Don't inhale, drink, eat or inject anything into your body that's not supposed to be there.
Easy.
As of everything else, moderation is key, don't take any more than your body can make good use of.
