The country had questions, and as President he felt responsible to try to provide answers. A lot of good that did him, because the media, and Democrats tore him apart on any recommendation he made. He should have let Pence take the hits, but he chose to do it himself. Had he not been out there front and center, the media, Democrats, and Trump haters would have been bitching about that too. No matter what Trump did, it was never good enough. He was constantly being criticized for everything he did. I'm surprised they didn't try impeaching him over his Covid response. Maybe they'll get a second chance if he gets back into office. Because that's all another four years for him will be...nothing but constant harassment and attacks from all sides. He knows that, yet he is willing to go through it, to try at least to help this country. Covid was a deliberate act to get destroy Trump, and get him out of office...and it worked. Aren't you happy about that?
