Of the 66,017 deaths, the majority (58.4%) were suicides, followed by homicides (31.3%), deaths of undetermined intent (8.2%), legal intervention deaths (1.3%) (i.e., deaths caused by law enforcement and other persons with legal authority to use deadly force acting in the line of duty, excluding legal executions), and unintentional firearm deaths (<1.0%)....

So those arguing against gun control can read it and pick out those statistics to back their argument from the data.
The argument for gun control rarely mentions suicide, even though suicide by gun is more common than murder by gun.
And guys, this might include some of your friends, so please be aware of the problem.

keep your friends and family off meth and anti-depressents! and benzos- ie: anti-anxiety drugs.
The less bad news is, cannibus was way down on the list in the blood tests of suicide victims..
That was my point. Gun suicides are often older men. When they get depressed and are socially isolated suicide is seen as a problem. So help your friends when they have troubles.
