Blablablabla. . . more Youkazoiditry. Boring!

Zelenskyy's history as an actor and comedian is well known. In that, he reminds many of our own Ronald Reagan.

Oh yes! As we all know, when Ronald Reagan was an actor, he pranced around in high heels while gay-dancing with a group of men and making suggestive, gay gestures like grabbing another man's butt. And how can we Americans forget Reagan's famous naked warehouse act where he is running around in the buff with a group of mincing, primping gay-acting men? And no doubt there are but a few people who aren't aware of Reagan's famous bit where he shucks his clothes and pretends to play the piano with his little Willy! (massive sarc. . .)

Unlike the grifting, phony little grease stain, Ronald Reagan was dignified, warm hearted and, unlike Zelenskyyyy, who relies on crudity and nudity for laughs, was a truly funny, good man and great leader worthy of respect.

Man, you've got some nerve comparing that primping, phony, acting little grifter; that WEF/GLOBALIST/UN/leftist puppet, to the great Ronald Reagan. Ugh.

“Translated from Russian propaganda-speak to ordinary English”

Now that is funny!

Thank you so much for sharing. I do appreciate your comment although your words will be lost on some.

I had not heard before the words of President Zelenskyy to Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu:

“There were four brothers —

“Three of them, their parents and their families became victims of the Holocaust. All of them were shot by German occupiers who invaded Ukraine,” he said.

“The fourth brother survived. … Two years after the war, he had a son, and in 31 years, he had a grandson.
In 40 more years, that grandson became president, and he is standing before you today, Mr. Prime Minister.”

Again, thank you.

Thanks for your comment, which contained not a single personal insult. Bravo. Good to see! And thank you for your humanitarian efforts.

I'm not going to get into the whole history leading up to the current mess in Ukraine but I do know that it's endlessly complicated and immensely convoluted with plenty of blame to be laid on all parties, including Russia, Ukraine, NATO and the EU. In all fairness, the elephant in the room is the endless provocations, machinations and interferences by a leftist/globalist controlled US government and by individual, wealthy, leftist/globalist individuals, corporations and NGOs. This crap has been going on for a long, long time. Now it has come to a head. Yet, what do we hear from FR Youkazoids? Russsia! Russsia! Ruzzziiiiaaaa!!! As if Putin's a new Hitler whose goal is world conquest. Childish and ignorant beyond belief.

I am sick of my government creating mayhem and death around the world. I am sick of it using ordinary American's money to do that. Vietnam: predicated on a massive lie. End result? Fifty thousand dead, young Americans and tens of thousands more wounded, both physically and mentally, a communist-affected genocide and an embarrassing politically-affected retreat by US forces, even while they were on the cusp of victory, plus billions of torched dollars. Iraq: predicated on either bad info or a big lie: End result: one hundred thousand dead Iraqis, thousands of dead and maimed Americans and billions of US taxpayers' dollars torched. What was gained there? Oil? Nope. Respect? Nope. Afghanistan: Well, I don't have to point out what was "accomplished" there and how that one ended. . .

Russia and Ukraine have been going at it for decades. Let 'em have at it. Let them settle it between themselves. No more of this crap where a small handful of naive or nefarious or greedy or warmongering individuals send American dollars down the toilet and good people to their deaths.

Kazakhstan’s President declines Lukashenko’s offer to join the Union State of Russia and Belarus
Ukrainsk Pravda 23
Iryna Balachuk
Monday, 29 May 2023, 13:09
https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2023/05/29/7404326/

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, has said that there is no need for his country to join the Union State of Russia and Belarus, and that it needs no nuclear weapons either. [The Union State, or Union State of Russia and Belarus, is a supranational union consisting of Belarus and Russia, with the stated aim of deepening the relationship between the two states through integration in economic and defence policy - ed.]

SOURCE: website of the President of Kazakhstan

QUOTE from Takayev: “Alexander Lukashenko, President of the Republic of Belarus, has recently proposed that Kazakhstan join the Union State. I appreciate his joke. I think there is no need [for Kazakhstan] to do so, as there are other integration associations – first and foremost, the Eurasian Economic Union.

As for nuclear weapons, we don’t need them, since we have joined the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and the Nuclear Test Ban Treaty.”

DETAILS: Tokayev underscored that Kazakhstan remains committed to its obligations under these international treaties.

He added that it is primarily economic cooperation that needs to be developed in the Eurasian region.

BACKGROUND:

Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has said that in creating the Union State with a single political, military and economic space as well as one nuclear arsenal for the two of them, Russia and Belarus are posing a problem for the other states in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

Self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has said that Russia will provide nuclear weapons to any countries that join the Union State of Russia and Belarus.

How about my tax dollars paying for the war. Does that allow me to talk about a subject I don’t agree with? This board isn’t supposed to walk in lockstep on issues. People will have different opinions.

Who are you to remind anyone? You've got some nerve. . .

You need to address this to your crewmembers who often throw out unprovoked insults and personal attacks on anyone who disagrees with their positions and silly fantasies. And you need to seriously consider these guidelines for yourself since you have, on multliple occasions, accused people who oppose your fantastic views of being mentally ill and/or stupid.

It's pretty clear from your comment that what you're aiming for is the "right" to post an unending, massive stream of propaganda and silence anyone who opposes or questions it. Sickening. Just like a censorious leftist would do.

Gross.

“Does that allow me to talk about a subject?”

Dialogue & discussion of shared questions & information is the focus of FR.

However, crude nasty retorts is never acceptable. I typically ignore or ghost such comments.

I have often said:

“I respect your freedom to hold your own or differing opinion. We both have the freedom of thought and the freedom of expression to hold our own point of view.

Also, it is absolutely not my intention or responsibility to “change” or form opinions for someone else.”

Yes. She tries to censor opposing views and wants her own little echo chamber.

I don’t imagine the pro-Soros, pro-Biden views being bandied about by some of these Zelensky fans here would meet much opposition on DU.

Thanks. Censorship is only for those whose opinions are based on childish fantasies or outright lies.

Leftists rely on censorship as a weapon against truth. Normal, freedom-loving folks don't.

What if the patriots of 1776 had said the same thing? What if the isolationists of the 1930’s had won and we would not of built up. We spend a lot of money building armaments against Russia why not spend so we do not have to spend anymore for that. Did you ever consider that? Spend what we need to preserve our culture and way of life. If the Ukrainians are doing that for us then than let us help them. Or are you a Putin loving Russian loving troll?

No, it is rotten stinking Russia. They have been our enemy for 100 years. It is time to deal with them and hopefully when we take over in 2025 we will defend our borders if not sooner.

This article appeared in the New Yorker, which is a pro-Ukraine magazine. None the less they portray an extremely grim situation for the Ukrainian army.

It is clear that elite opinion (which the New Yorker, the Atlantic, and Foreign Affairs dutifully express) is beginning to shift and people are being slowly accustomed to the idea of Ukraine losing the war.

I disagree with your premise. No change in magazines attitudes toward Ukraine is apparent:

There’s a lot we can agree on. Neocon adventures, thoughtless foreign policy, globalisation, short term carpetbagging doctrines leading to offshoring/ outsourcing to China...

Fifty years of treaties like the Budapest Memorandum, which lock the USA into answering calls for help that many would rather stay out of...

Ill considered open-ended promises that were totally unenforceable even at the time they were made - like James Baker reassuring the Soviet Union that NATO wouldn’t allow Warsaw Pact countries to apply to join the alliance (unenforceable once the USSR was disbanded by its constituent republics and the Warsaw Pact agreement got torn up).

All of which doesn’t contradict the clear danger to the world presented by Putin unilaterally breaking binding international treaties, sticking his nukes in npt countries, invading other countries, threatening to launch preemptive nuclear strikes, and using grain oil and gas to blackmail Eastern Europe and Africa.

The USA took the right approach when Saddam invaded Kuwait. It’s taking the right approach now with Ukraine.

That’s not to say it’s an ideal situation. Ideally America wouldn’t need to get involved. Because ideally, Saddam wouldn’t have been a cruel despot intent on invading Kuwait, and ideally Putin wouldn’t be a totalitarian thug intent on invading other countries that have security guarantees with the USA.

But the crappy reality is, the USA offered itself to serve as a guarantor of the UN Charter, and through multiple treaties is obligated to protect its partners and allies. Ukraine has such assurances, and has been a reliable partner in NATO operations.

Putin doesn’t care that his own invasion fetish guarantees that the USA will get dragged into a conflicting with Russia. Putin actually WANTS that fight.

If anyone on the pro Putin anti war side has ever come up with a way to enable Putin’s invasion fetish without it guaranteeing a hot war between Moscow and Washington I’ve yet to hear it.

All those comparisons are nothing like the war in Ukraine. Zelensky isn't George Washington and neither is Biden. Stop using the liberal tactic of calling people Putin lovers. I love America and only America. Biden and the democrats have been invokved in Ukraine at least going back to the 2014 coup. Zelensky should have made peace instead of listening to Biden and becoming a proxy to fight Russia. You know why they will lose? They will lose because Biden is the biggest loser of our time. His record is full of losing since 1972. Biden, Nuland, soros and all the other fake friends of Ukraine will dump them the minute the war becomes a liability. Not one of them actually cares about the Ukrainian people.
