Yeah. That’s how the human brain works though. We’re not really wired for long term fear, especially when the threat is vague (maybe somebody might have it and maybe you’ll be around them long enough to get it, and maybe you’ll have it bad... human brain just isn’t into that many maybes). It took a lot of media noise to keep people worried about covid more than 6 months. And once the brain has moved on, that’s that. Just like when you stop smelling the gas leak.
