The folks at the Pentagon apparently made a slight accounting mistake, which was only off by about $3 billion.
The media is reporting this as a positive, because the ‘error’ will ultimately benefit Ukraine in the form of more weapons.
Name another industry where you can make this kind of mistake and people just shrug.

If you were planning to take down a nation from within, I'd say that plan might work.
Katrina was one of the worst for grifters. A company would be paid a huge sum to haul off debris who would keep part of the money and hire someone else at a lower cost. And it would keep on going that way for several iterations until two guys in a dump truck were hired to do the job for a tiny fraction of the original government contract.
Why is it Pentagon accounting errors never benefit the American people?
Was this connected to the NAVY ACCOUNTING ERROR, which they have to pay back?

Yeah that has been the false “concept” since I was a kid. The so called “economic benefits” have never outweighed the costs.
That is a BS myth produced from the MIC themselves... And those who hold financial interests in the MIC love to repeat that lie.
Same deal with the FBI — they make mistakes and destroy evidence, or search without warrants, or do other “sloppy” stuff by accident — and it’s always 100% targeted against Republicans. Weird that the mistakes benefit Democrats (or Ukraine). Shrug. Just one of those things, I guess.
