Resident in Turkey captures sofa flying in high winds

A sofa was spotted flying from the balcony of a 35-story high-rise building in Ankara, Turkey, on Wednesday (5/17). A resident captured the moment and said the couch fell into a garden after crashing into nearby buildings. No one was hurt. The mayor of Ankara issued a warning about strong winds and flash floods on his social media page.

Greece can’t afford a fancy giant white balloon like China, so they catapult this used sofa into the sky, pointed toward Turkey.

So one night with nothing particular to day I decided to peruse the selection of Penthouses for sale in Las Vegas. There were may nice ones out of my budget, but what caught my attention was the following line for one particular place that had a rather large outdoor patio area atop 47 stories: “ Please secure your patio furniture due to high winds.” I made a mental note to keep an eye skywar when the Spring winds blow in Las Vegas...
