Thanks so much Melinda, I have done the lifeline and think they are doing a great service, but I’ve pretty much had every nook and cranny observed since last year. My cholesterol is not perfect now, but within range.
Also, that same doctor prescribed losartin for high blood pressure, I told him it was white coat syndrome but he would not believe me and I actually took the prescription. I am now off of the losartin because it was discovered that it was (at times) giving me dangerously low blood pressure. My blood pressure is normal and anny high readings were mostly indicative of other issues that the primary was too stupid or lazy to look into.
I found out a bunch about my health from a team of doctors at UT Southwest in Dallas. A hospital I highly recommend.
Sorry about the cancer KittenClaws.I will pray for you.I did the same thing when I had my stoke.Doc prescribed it and I thew it out.

Thanks, We’ve got it under control now, looks like it anyway. Even with the oncology doctor, I read up on every prescribed medication. If I don’t like the listed possible/likely side effects, I won’t take it - but I tell him so and he usually explains to my satisfaction benefits vs side effects or changes the prescription.
I had to take the chemo infusions, but after 4 rounds he wanted to leave in the port just in case I needed more. I refused anymore infusions in no uncertain terms and an appointment was made to have the port removed. Kind of pissed him off, but he has followed my wishes and continues to treat me for other issues. I hated that thing under my skin, it was creepy and uncomfortable.
My BP is the same way. I dread talking to my doctor so much that mine goes out the roof. I record daily BP measurements for a month before I go or she would have me on them too. If I’m not stressed, my BP often goes to the neighborhood of 90/60. Meds would kill me.
I must have read an excerpt of that book or something, because I was certain that certain types of cholesterol were ok and some were not. I get blood drawn every three weeks, sometimes every two weeks, and the last one I had showed nothing of great importance out of range ( cholesterol, wbc, potassium, etc)
Appreciate the information and the post!
Good one too bad the bulk of society doesnt have a clue.

This where I would have a bit of disagreement. Have you read Flynn and Cutler’s Citizen’s Guide to 5th Generation Warfare? If not, it’s well worth the $29 on Amazon. The Great Awakening is real. More and more are getting a clue.

FBI dropped 4 probes into Hillary Clinton, family’s non-profit ahead of 2016 election: Durham report

The FBI had at least four open criminal investigations into Hillary and Bill Clinton that were suddenly dropped in the months before the 2016 presidential election, special counsel John Durham’s recently released report shows.
The IVM I ordered from Indiamart arrived in three weeks. I had friends that ordered from there and it took months instead of three weeks. The only difference I could see was that my seller shipped through USPS. The orders that took months were shipped through UPS.
UPS was taking it upon themselves to pull the IVM orders and refused to deliver if the person that ordered it didn’t provide a prescription. USPS came through in a timely matter each time. I even had friends that said UPS refused to deliver it and returned the orders to India. By the time UPS got the package, it had already passed through US Customs so they were out of their lane on that. USPS didn’t care.
US Customs opened all of mine, inspected them, and sent them to me anyway through USPS. I only ordered twice but the mail carrier that delivered to me smiled both times because he knew what was in the box. LOL
Complete and senseless slide.....
Has anybody noticed a significant drop in the quality of service from FedEx lately?
Like, for example, 2 boxes shipped from the same outfit, sent together, labeled 1 and 2, shipped to the same destination. One is here, the other one took an odd turn and is some 350 miles away, but still shows that it will be delivered today.
This is not the first time they’ve screwed things up recently. I had a package from B&H a few weeks ago that got lost in shipment. Are they now employing illegals or something?
in the spirit of the discussion, this has raised my BP a bit, especially since I’m going to leave town on a 575 mile drive tomorrow, and I cannot use the contents of package 1 without package 2. Plus, I need to be home to sign for the package(s).
Buttheads.

HIROSHIMA, Japan (AP) — President Joe Biden on Friday endorsed plans to train Ukrainian pilots on U.S.-made F-16 fighter jets, according to two people familiar with the matter, as he huddled with allies at the Group of Seven summit on how to bolster support for Kyiv against Russia’s invasion.
The people, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to dis

That’s exactly how mine was doing. It amazes me what doctors do not know. High blood pressure can be caused by many different things IMO, most doctors don’t want to go through the trouble of tracing down the cause, they’d rather treat the symptom.
Soon after the cancer diagnosis, I took my health care decisions into my own hands. I will never again let another doctor prescribe a med or do a procedure without my full understanding of why take it or do it and benefit vs risk. That was why I wouldn’t do more chemo, for what? An extra few months of life, wherein I’d be sick most of that time?
I put my trust in Gods will and truly believe that is all I need do. Prayer over medications and procedures are just as valid of those for life.
Complete and senseless slide.....
LOL, no, but UPS here is awful! I think it’s more our driver than the company. He jumps out of the truck, throws the package on the ground, and runs back to his truck.
FedEx has been good, so far.
Good on you! If covid did nothing else, it woke us up to how crooked some in the medical profession can be. Bless those that still care and do the right thing.

I have noticed that my blood pressure spikes when I sit in the waiting room playing on my phone. When I sit there without holding my arms up with a phone, my BP is in the normal range for much younger people. I was at a doctor’s appointment last week and I didn’t expect to have my BP taken, and I told the nurse that it would be high, and it was.

Is it just holding the phone or what your doing/reading on the phone? Does it happen at home? I just find that interesting.
