Thanks so much Melinda, I have done the lifeline and think they are doing a great service, but I’ve pretty much had every nook and cranny observed since last year. My cholesterol is not perfect now, but within range.
Also, that same doctor prescribed losartin for high blood pressure, I told him it was white coat syndrome but he would not believe me and I actually took the prescription. I am now off of the losartin because it was discovered that it was (at times) giving me dangerously low blood pressure. My blood pressure is normal and anny high readings were mostly indicative of other issues that the primary was too stupid or lazy to look into.
I found out a bunch about my health from a team of doctors at UT Southwest in Dallas. A hospital I highly recommend.
My BP is the same way. I dread talking to my doctor so much that mine goes out the roof. I record daily BP measurements for a month before I go or she would have me on them too. If I’m not stressed, my BP often goes to the neighborhood of 90/60. Meds would kill me.
I have noticed that my blood pressure spikes when I sit in the waiting room playing on my phone. When I sit there without holding my arms up with a phone, my BP is in the normal range for much younger people. I was at a doctor’s appointment last week and I didn’t expect to have my BP taken, and I told the nurse that it would be high, and it was.
