Police said the woman was an employee of the Arby's restaurant, which is located in New Iberia
Authorities in Louisiana are investigating a "suspicious death" after a body was found in a walk-in freezer at an Arby's restaurant in New Iberia, police said.
The New Iberia Police Department said the female victim was an employee at the restaurant on E. Admiral Doyle Drive, according to KADN. Her cause of death has not yet been determined.
"So it was an employee that discovered the female deceased inside the cooler, (and) the deceased is an employee of the restaurant," New Iberia Police Capt. Leland Laseter told the local station.

“You Stole my Jesus Fish!”
I’ve been to New Iberia. There are parts of town you want to stay far way from.
Sounds like a case for Dave Robicheaux.
There is a show on BritBox called “Death in Paradise”. Sort of a “Mystery She Wrote” set in the Caribbean with a murder every week!
Many of the episodes have similar plots, with a recurring problem being “How could the person have been murdered in her bedroom alone, locked from the inside?”
Of course a freezer is a death trap, so...
But it wasn’t the same employee, right?
WE HAVE THE MEATS!!!!
I shouldn’t be laughing….🤣
LOL
Was she a member of the mob and they whacked her?
somethings are funny.....but this is just sad....I hope it was accidentally and not a murder....think of this poor woman’s anguish as she slowly froze to death....Lord have mercy.
IThank you. It’s good to read your post. This is a story about someone employed at a fast food restaurant who died. Too many find humor in these types of posts. It may be because our country is being destroyed and this is gallows humor. It could be because our country is being destroyed by a corrupt government.
That was the first thing I thought of! That episode of I Love Lucy scared me as a child. I didn’t think it was funny.
