The dark, dank and dangerous New York City subway is back in the news thanks to the recent death of a Jordan Neely — a violent, mentally ill career criminal who terrorized commuters for at least a decade.
Neely had a plan to get arrested and return to jail just so he could have a place to eat and sleep. Neely went berserk on the subway, causing terror among the passengers. Fortunately, a former Marine named Daniel Penny stepped in as a good Samaritan and managed to subdue Neely, who died while he was being restrained.
For over a decade Neely, a so-called Michael Jackson impersonator, made commuting a nightmare for subway riders. He would verbally abuse passengers and intimidate them into giving him money. Back in 2013 Reddit users made a thread about him, warning subway riders to steer clear of him. Neely had a rap sheet that was a mile long — he once punched an elderly woman in the face and rather than addressing the epidemic of mentally ill schizophrenic drug-addicted criminals terrorizing the law-abiding population and acknowledging the reality that Neely got his just desserts, Democrats are attacking the Good Samaritan who heroically subdued this madman. We can only conclude that the left wants the public to accept violence, filth, and harassment as a “normal” part of public transport and urban life.

Well, the Rats have their St Neely for the time being.
America? They mean Blue Cities in America.
The 10 people riding on the Dallas Subway, when it it isn’t in the ghetto, generally pick up after themselve
“Give us your deranged, violent, and dangerous…”
It's New York.
That looks like DC - not NYC
Unfortunately Penny picked the absolutely wrong city to do the right thing in......shoulda caught this psyco where nobody’s watching.
I thought I was going to see the one that Jared ate at.
EXACTLY.
They compare the 5#!++iest 5#!=hole in America to carefully selected other countries, and then pretend that America is 5#!+ ... because it makes them feel superior or enlightened or some such garbage.
Second picture I posted is Boston.
Both DC and Boston are notoriously maladministered by democRATs ... but the subways aren’t dumpsters.
Now ... to be somewhat fair, Noo Yawk has about twice as many miles of track as DC or Chicongo, but an order of magnitude more riders.
The US has become a shit hole because of abuse of freedom, illegals and lack of common culture and standards.
I have said for some time now that the US is NOT the greatest nation in the world. It is a dying shell of its former self. It is corrupt and disgusting to the core. It has become nothing more than a sham hack republic turned socialist.
It’s really difficult to build infrastructure when the greens stop you from building anything and all the money to do it is pocketed by our corrupt political class.
I ride the NYC subway all the time and have never seen scenes like those shown in the article. Those photos are wildly unrepresentative of the NYC subways.
I hate being in a position to defend the NYC subway but they are generally clean and safe. Anybody who would like to dispute that can Freepmail me for a private tour of the system next time they are in town. I work just outside Grand Central and will be happy to meet up and give you a taste of what it is really like.
Bkmk
Huh ... You mean ... some “hate America” asswipe is LYING to us?
hard to disagree unfortunately
‘’That looks like DC - not NYC’’
That IS D.C. I grew up there and rode their subway from the day it opened ‘til 3 years ago.
