Give me grief, but the Styx version, is much better than "the Beatles" version.
I know there is a lot of bad sh!t happening, but I needed a break.

I thought the Johnny Cash cover of “Hurt” was better than the nine inch nails version!

I like the versions of “True Love Ways” by Mickey Gilley, and by Martina McBride better than the original.

No, I love it. Far better.
Also, listen to Leonid and Friends, a bunch of Russkies who cover Chicago/horn band stuff. Fabulous. Their singers are amazing.

Some alternatives... I can't say they're better, just different.
Dear Prudence, by Souxsie and the Banshees.
Do It Again, by Wall of Voodoo.
I Thank You, by ZZ Top.
She's Not There, by Santana.
Stay, by The Four Seasons.

BTW, went to my only Styx concert 2 mo ago-—fabulous. Tommy Shaw hit every note, energy like you couldn’t believe, Todd Sucherman on drums was phenomenal.

I’m a big fan of Big Country’s cover of Roxy Music’s Prairie Rose.
I prefer ZZ-Top’s Viva Las Vegas to the original by Elvis Presley.
Yes’ cover to Simon & Garfunkel’s America.
