I am an American, why the hell would I watch or care about the “coronation” of an inbred to lead a country we gained independence from?! We should instead be helping the good citizens of that country rid themselves of the monarch like we did hundreds of years ago.

Charles was forced to marry a Woman he never loved that’s what destroyed the marriage. Diana had no issue spreading her legs for a whole host of men including James Hewitt and at least one other bodyguard during her marriage and Dodi Fayed after her divorce. I know it’s not popular to criticize the “saintly” Diana but she was closer to Meghan Markle than the former Queen.

My congratulations to the New King. I have my issues with Charles, but I trust he will be a good King to his subjects.
I missed the Coronation live, as it was too early, but I did watch the Late Queen’s entire televised funeral services. She was a great lady in what appeared to be a very difficult job for a long long time. Her like will not pass this way again.

As a kid I watched his investment as Prince of Wales. His wedding was televised. I suspect that in ten or so years his son's coronation will be broadcast. Historical sidebar, William Shakespeare helped hold the canopy for the coronation of James I/VI.

ABC coverage was offered free on Roku Channel, but those nitwits were unlistenable. I switched to broadcast TV, NBC, and the correspondent just signed off with the term "coronated". Illiterate ignorance and agenda is the new journalism.

I was a small American boy in London (father stationed at the War Office) and got to watch the 1953 coronation of Queen Elizabeth on a tiny telly at the home of our nanny’s boyfriend. My wife is a devoted anglophile so we set the alarm for 4am and so glad we did, it was impossible not to be moved by this event. I’m optimistic Charles will be a decent king.

The Amazon river runs for thousands of miles. At some points it runs through areas of the rain forest that are almost untouched and have been barely explored. Because of the porous limestone in these areas, the river water leaks through the stone and travels deep into the earth, and forms underground pools almost a mile below the surface. Over thousands of years, small, blind transparent fish have evolved in these pools. These fish have never seen the sun or surface and have never been seen by humans. These fish care more about this story than I do.
