The first thing that came to my own heart and mind was pity, not anger. To the extent these people are serious satanists, to that extent they are blind and darkened, fighting a guaranteed losing battle. Barring their own repentance and transformation, they are heading for disaster.

The irony is that Boston, now a center neo paganism featuring all its decadent, hedonistic and satanic practices, was founded by fundamentalist Christians.
I pray for these people and those like them that they will see the light before they stand in front of God’s throne. If they don’t change, it will be a quick judgement.........and very harsh.
Satanism does not appear to be a logical system of belief
Very simply - do followers believe in a clear distinction of good and evil? If so, then they must believe in an “absolute good” ie) God - even if they rebel against Him.
Or do they believe that what is evil, is in their eyes, actually good? In that case, Let’s say, for example, someone committed “evil” against them (for example, someone bombed their satanic conference). Would they then celebrate this act of “evil” - and their own destruction?
Or do they simply deny that God exists? If so, then the logical consequence of their position would be that Satan also can not exist.
Blinded by Lies from the pit these pathetic souls don’t understand that
Lucifer Hates them.
‘Abandoned All hope Ye who enter.’
The odd thing is, many of them say they don’t believe in Satan
Many Satanist know full-well that he is not a metaphor.
Here's how they see things:
They see Satan as an angel of light and believe he is alive and well.
They see Satan as a very active spirit that wants to liberate them from the chains of God's rules. They see the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil as a portal to Enlightenment that God wanted to deprive them of. They see sex as a very good thing, particularly when unencumbered by God's stifling demands that it be limited to marriage and only between adult members of the opposite sex.
Satanists believe that God wants to imprison people--to make slaves of them. They believe that Satan is here to set them free.
As Sun Tzu said a very long time ago" "Know your enemy. If you don't, you are going to lose the battle you are fighting."
Most Christians and Jews have no idea what Satanists believe. We had better get with the program and stop thinking inside the box as Michael Brown does in this article. As an aside, I have been watching and reading Michael Brown for years and think he does a great job. But occasionally, he misses the mark.
I think it is really more of an anti-Christian thing rather than a true belief in Satan.
We had a FreeThinkers club on campus that was supposed to be a club celebrating atheism. The faculty advisor resigned saying it was a thinly disguised anti-Christian group.
Things have been changing in the last few years. I have been shocked by some of the things I have heard.
They tore up a Bible, the book that is the sole reason they believe in Satan. #Irony
I think they beleive that evil is “natural” and part of life- they embrace evil (while claiming to also be good). They know God exists (even demons recognize that fact), they however openly reject God and Christ. Most of their rituals, like black masses, are done to demean Christ and worship Satan. Their beleifs are a antichristian moral beleifs, and they embrace hedonism and deviant and immoral behaviors because doing so is in direct opposition to God.
Richard ramirez (the night stalker) was a self proclaimed Satanist.
Satanism/Luciferianism isn't just a reaction to the Bible. That's Sunday School thinking.
Going all the way back to Babylon and even before the Flood, there were people who worshiped Lucifer (by a variety of different names). And this religion has been alive ever since...just kept very private for the obvious reasons.
People who think this stuff is just something that rebellious high school kids do are naive. Just because Luciferianism is practiced in the shadows and isn't covered by the press doesn't mean it isn't real.
That said, practitioners of this "faith" don't always see it in Biblical terms and not always using Biblical names.
Muslims have been known to tear up (and burn) the Bible. Their sole reason for believing in Allah (who is a form of Lucifer) isn't the Bible.
some answers to questions posted here, exist on youtube since Lavey’s own recordings are still there.
also there are recordings by those who espouse other definitions questioned.
