The USG doesn’t want the Flynn case to be heard in Florida. The government has filed a 22-page motion to change the venue to DC.
They start with precedent; in short, the Plaintiff’s choice of venue shouldn’t be disturbed unless the defendant (in this case, the government) can show that it is clearly outweighed by other considerations and that the Plaintiff’s choice of venue is granted less weight when the original venue lacks any significant connection to the claim.
(snip)
By this logic, the USG wouldn’t fare very well bringing cases ANYWHERE but DC!!

Moving it to DC, so that a Deep State hand picked judge gets "randomly chosen" to oversee the case and a guaranteed outcome.
If it moves to DC Flynn may as well forget about it
HELL NO. The judge must deny the change of venue to the obviously and hideously biased DC Swamp courts and force the government to stay and fight it out right there.
Cases against the US government, political ones, especially, should be held anywhere, but DC. It’s time to let the rest of the American public, have a say.
DC has it in for all of us....Gen Flynn is merely one of the few remaining in the way
When should the verb want ever get an apostrophe? And I really can't see adding an apostrophe to the noun either.
No. After what we've seen, DC should never be allowed to have trials. They are corrupt, their juries are both pawns and idiots, and you cannot get any justice in a DC court.
DC is the heart of evil.
Probably California too. If it truly were only D.C., they wouldn't be as confident of their illegal regime defeating all lawfare Republicans may bring against them. But D.C. is a definite positive, to be sure. 🙂
Yep - as you said, a compromised DC District stooge installed by Dubya/Bammy/McConnell will handle this in the "correct" way...
USG???
United States Government?
Yes.
would never argue that point.
+1.
I hope Flynn’s lawyers depose his first defense attorneys, who were work for the prosecutor, and not for Flynn. If they had been, they could have easily had the case dismissed within 1-2 months.
