As the subject of deliverance and demons has come front and center in recent days, I wanted to state clearly what I do and do not believe, in keeping with the views I have held for decades. To help simplify the discussion, I’ll answer a series of common questions.

No
Well articulated, as always from Brown.
My demon is named Brandon.

If you are a Christian, you know this. If you don't know this, your demons have already got you bamboozled.
A true Christian indwelt by the Holy Spirit can’t be possessed by a demon.
Christians can be influenced and affected by demonic power. I believe temptations are demonic, and everyone is tempted.
For many(not all), let’s just say their faith is...tested.
Greater is He that is in me, than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4-6.
Yep.
Daily. Prayers up morning, noon and night. And anytime in between.
I work construction/carpentry/etc. I hear things that would make a sailor blush. I pray.
Over the target.
+1
As the article states, we are overcomers.
Fighting the flesh and principalities (power in the air) is a daily chore for us.
Prayers, worship, praise, and daily Scripture combat it.
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Eph 6:10-11
Great article. Even though a Christian can’t be possessed, they can be suffer demonic oppression, which is no walk in the park. My in-laws went to a demon obsessed church, when I asked my father-in-law why he couldn’t make it to church on time he claimed he had the “demon of lateness.”
Paul did not say might, he said may. As in one will.
Might live on chicken butts.
Many Christians are Christians only by self labeling. If you don’t think so, just read the way people here on FR treat each other.
Of course a Christian can be harassed, oppressed and possessed. You’re not getting a cakewalk just because you’re a Christian. The lives of the saints show that.
That’s exactly what Paul’s thorn in the flesh was, a demon
Not the possessed part.
Huh? May does not = will. If you buy a lottery ticket, you may win $1,000,000. You seem to say if you buy a ticket, you will win. They are not nearly the same thing.
