Dog The Bounty Hunter’s daughter, Bonnie Chapman, lost almost everything she owns in a house fire, including her beloved pets, she says in a video shared by TMZ.
Bonnie, the daughter of the late Beth Chapman, said she and her boyfriend Ismael were working Tuesday when someone called to say her rental house in Fishersville, Virginia, was engulfed in flames, TMZ reported Thursday. The tragedy claimed the lives of Bonnie’s pets, including three cats, a dog, a gecko and a snake.
Bonnie recorded an emotional video describing the chain of events surrounding the fire. She recalled rushing to the scene in denial, thinking the phone call must have been a mistake, but later discovering it was indeed her home that had gone up in flames. She said the bodies of all her animals were recovered “without injury,” but that they had all succumbed to smoke inhalation.
She said she plans to honor the memory of her animals by obtaining cremation rings or commissioning portraits of them, and she was tearful while recalling the happy memories she made with her pets.

Bonnie was able to salvage some of her belongings, namely one very special piece of memorabilia that she holds dear to her heart.
“I was able to salvage my ashes that I have of my mother,” Bonnie said through tears in the video shared by TMZ.
The fire department believes the fire resulted from an electrical failure, according to the outlet.
Renter’s insurance is always a wise thing. Hopefully, Ishmael is a go-getter and can bring home some bacon.
Where I live, you can’t rent an apartment without it. It may be different for individuals renting single family homes.
This is not a “tragedy” worthy of national attention.
We used to watch his shows.....................
I was told by a relative that friends lost their home to a electrical fire that happened at night. No one injured.
7 people lived in a small home built in 1946 so figure 60amp service and cloth covered wire.
I bet they had their cell phones all charging.
Aluminum wires?.......................
It’s the “cheapest” bill you have to have. The memories you lose in a fire cannot be replaced. Insurance helps you get everything else back.
Memory doesn’t need to be replaced - it’s inside of your mind. But it’s pretty hard to create a household with everything it needs from scratch.
I wouldn’t live without insurance.
But “tragedy”? I've lost friends and family members in truly tragic situations. But this was a fire where no one was hurt.
Pets? I've lost a couple of cats to coyotes, but I wouldn't run around blabbing that it was a “tragedy”.
Ironic that the only thing that could be saved was ashes.

I fully expected a link to a GoFundMe page at the end of the article.
