This is the disturbing moment Steven Crowder berates his heavily-pregnant wife for not 'performing her wifely duties'.
In the video obtained by journalist Yashar Ali and posted to his Substack, the YouTuber, 35, can be seen on shocking new Ring footage laying into Hilary as she struggles to stand while nearly eight months pregnant with twins.
He bans her from using their only car to go grocery shopping - because it would mean he could not go to the gym - and tells her to feed their dogs medicine that she feared would be toxic for their unborn children.
She finally snaps at him saying 'your abuse is sick' but later backs down and repeatedly tells him she loves him while he continues to lay into her while smoking a cigarette.
It comes after Crowder revealed on Tuesday his wife had filed for divorce in 2021 and claimed he had been 'living with a proverbial boot on my neck for years'.
The Ring camera footage, taken on June 26, 2021, shows Crowder sitting on their back patio smoking as Hilary, wearing a shirt showing off her large bump, prepares to leave the house.
As she reaches for the keys, Crowder could be seen insisting she not take their only car, saying: 'I drew a boundary. You are not taking the car.'
When Hilary asks why she can't take the car to get groceries, Crowder replies: 'Because if you refuse to do wifely things then I will go get the groceries.'
He also asks her whether she respects men, to which she replies that she does.

That video strikes me as being intentionally contrived as a setup to be used in later divorce proceedings. Well fine let her get her evidence for that purpose, but then putting it out publicly like that was way out of line. An unnecessary act done purely out of vengeance and hatred. Like I said they probably deserve each other.

Sooo, from doing divorce work, one side will always present only the evidence that is favorable to their own side. And yes, wives do set their husbands up for stuff like this. My advice is, let them get their divorce, and if anything else comes out in Court, we may find out what is really going on. Or not.
But you can not judge anything by this one video. In my experiences, if he says that he has been living with a boot on his neck for years, she ain’t exactly a little princess, or a joy to be around either.

Bingo. My ex BIL used to do that same kind of stuff to my sister. He would take her check book and credit card away. I asked why she let him do it and she said she was afraid of him. Steven Browser’s wife’s behavior in that video is not new to me.

I too had an ex BIL who did the same thing to my sister so I’m well aware of how these control freaks operate.
important is that this is a short clip. verry curies about what is on the camera that was left out....this is a short snip of their interaction. I would hate to think what could be put online about me when I show the world the worse version of me.

He has been publicly blaming her for their divorce - PUBLICLY. So that would prompt her to respond to those allegations with evidence to the contrary to defend herself to these attacks.
You should see Crowder’s divorce announcement on his podcast. Talk about ah ha cringe. He’s outraged that in Texas a woman is allowed to file for divorce and be granted one even if the husband objects. The guy lives in la la land.

Well ok I wasn’t aware that he had already brought this up publicly. I’m not a follower of his and have only watched a couple of his videos a long time ago which I thought were amusing. I’m not surprised he’s a jerk I’ll bet many of these public figures people laud are actually nasty jerks behind the scenes in their private life. Big egos and self absorbed abusive jerks are plentiful in this world.
He lied about the illness.
She didn’t set him up for anything unless he is stupid. He knows the doorbell exists. If he didn’t behave like that he would have nothing to worry about.
I might of thought it could be a set up until he made his little remarks the other day which all by his lonesome showed how believable this little clip really is. He takes no responsibility for anything.
The guy clearly has a mental issue and appears to be a narcissist and verbal abuser.
just discovered that the video and audio have been altered. if you watch the clip closely you can see that small segments have been cut out clipping sentences spoken so that context is obscured.
There is no proof other than what Steven said. He knew that Ring doorbell was there and if he says he has another recording that disproves his behavior in this one then he is free to post it somewhere.
He has responded again but did not claim we would see what he claims was edited. He was whining he was going to have all their dirty laundry unsealed that I am sure will totally show what a stand up hubby he is.
This is a childish guy.
I just watched it at half speed and see no evidence that it has been edited.
