This is the disturbing moment Steven Crowder berates his heavily-pregnant wife for not 'performing her wifely duties'.
In the video obtained by journalist Yashar Ali and posted to his Substack, the YouTuber, 35, can be seen on shocking new Ring footage laying into Hilary as she struggles to stand while nearly eight months pregnant with twins.
He bans her from using their only car to go grocery shopping - because it would mean he could not go to the gym - and tells her to feed their dogs medicine that she feared would be toxic for their unborn children.
She finally snaps at him saying 'your abuse is sick' but later backs down and repeatedly tells him she loves him while he continues to lay into her while smoking a cigarette.
It comes after Crowder revealed on Tuesday his wife had filed for divorce in 2021 and claimed he had been 'living with a proverbial boot on my neck for years'.
The Ring camera footage, taken on June 26, 2021, shows Crowder sitting on their back patio smoking as Hilary, wearing a shirt showing off her large bump, prepares to leave the house.
As she reaches for the keys, Crowder could be seen insisting she not take their only car, saying: 'I drew a boundary. You are not taking the car.'
When Hilary asks why she can't take the car to get groceries, Crowder replies: 'Because if you refuse to do wifely things then I will go get the groceries.'
He also asks her whether she respects men, to which she replies that she does.

That’s it? First it seems like his wife KNEW the camera would be recording and egged him into a fight. It seems like some sort of set up or something. My goodness, he’s pretty calm knowing his wife is going to leave him...also, is there another “guy”? The conversation was barely audible and the words were flashing up quickly.
Unless I’m missing something, this is stupid-—I’ve had worse yelling matches with my wife when we were early in our marriage.
In a normal relationship, she would have come outside while her husband was relaxing, grabbed the keys and said “Honey, I am off to the grocery, I will be back in awhile”. He would have said “Love you, be careful” and that would have been the end of it.
This was hideous.
When your wife is 8 months pregnant with twins it’s time to fix your own Sammach.
Otherwise she may be in the kitchen doing it for you.

He did this without being asked. Because as a husband he saw it as his job to protect me.
I don’t watch any of his videos, and I don’t follow him. After Candace Owens alerted us to certain facts about him, I resolved not to ever watch or follow him.
Tension and ugliness aside, he’s upset she’s not walking the dog and doing something that requires gloves (pest control)?
She is clearly toxic, but he is utterly pathetic, unbearable. And why do they only have one car? If he is low on cash, perhaps he should have taken the Daily Wire’s “slavery” offer.

He moved out and got an attorney behind her back. I saw nothing in this video to see her egging him on.
I know people want to think every person they like is a great person. Sometimes they just aren’t.
Steven Crowder coms off as a jerk but was it appropriate for the wife to plaster that video of marital discord all over the internet? Seems she wanted to set him up for a big money grab for the divorce. Now the media is using it to destroy another conservative voice. Candace Owens & the Daily Wire are happy to be a part of this takedown.

Bingo! This footage is from summer 2021... I agree that this seems like any argument a married couple would have. What disturbs me is not the fight but how the footage was obtained.
Remember, he was going through an illness at this time....so who knows. Maybe he wasn’t allowed to do things. Maybe he’s an idiot-—I wouldn’t treat my wife like that but come on-—10 years ago this would be a non story.
Her response is a classic example of a spouse who is habitually abused.
I once dated a gal who was a victim of domestic abuse for a number of years by a husband who was a nasty drunk. Eventually the verbal abuse escalated to physical abuse until one day he broke her jaw and kicked her out of the car along I-94 between Detroit and Ann Arbor, leaving her to get home on her own.
When I dated her, one of her daughters was 13 and she couldn't stand to be with her father on weekends because every Saturday night he would take her to the VFW where he would get drunk.
