The Left is a cult instigating a movement to destroy traditional mores and culture, and then impose a radically new, perverse morality and order on Americans.
If you never watched the brilliant German movie, Downfall, do so. It stars the late Bruno Ganz, whose portrayal of Adolf Hitler during his last days in his Berlin bunker was powerfully chilling. Hitler was a psychopath, whose unshakable certitude and will were central to driving National Socialism’s capture of the German people. Both were also central to the numbing devastation that Hitler’s hubris brought to Germans in the end.
Seeing the movie again, and having had read various accounts of Hitler’s and the Nazi’s rise and fall, I’m left with two key takeaways: at core, National Socialism was a cult, and it was terribly evil. No revelation the last point. But it was a cult, characterized by pseudo-religious sensibilities -- fanatically so. Its dogma (Aryan superiority, among other tenets), trappings, hierarchy of priests, and capstone deity, Hitler, made it an uber cult.
Prior to being fired by Fox News, Tucker Carlson spoke to a Heritage Foundation audience. Carlson’s remarks were seminal. He identified the clash between traditional America and the Left as rising to an entirely new and ominous level.
We’ve moved beyond mere politics and policy differences, Carlson claimed. The conflict is with a Left that has increasingly embraced evil. That’s hard to accept. Most Americans don’t want to regard other Americans as evil. But the evidence is abundant and growing.
Maybe Carlson’s bold assertion was a reason why the Murdochs canned him? The Murdochs are quintessential players. Their interests aren’t served when their network’s marquee personality infers that a civilizational clash is underway.

This guy has just noticed this. The "movement" has been going on for at least sixty years, if not longer. It's just morphed into an on-line form; in the virtual world they're having more success than in the real world.

Hitler worshiped a pagan cult of the German gods who would usher in the 4th Reich. The SS had sex on the graves of graves of famous Germans to bring their spirits into babies. He realized people will do things for a religion they would never do for politics.

The U.S. Left, or at least the Communist Party USA, resisted calls to aid Britain because Stalin viewed Hitler as an ally against the democratic West, whom he viewed as the real enemy, and CPUSA took their orders from Moscow.
To the extent that one includes FDR and the Democrats as part of the American Left in 1940, the American Left firmly opposed the Nazis. War was far from popular in America. If Hitler had not declared war on America, it is not inconceivable that the U.S. would not have actively entered the war against Germany. Hitler’s declaration of war on the United States was a gift to both Churchill and Stalin.
I really believe that if we fight this evil trying to beat back each individual outrage the evildoers set up against us that we have no way of winning this at all. It is like trying to plug each individual hole in a dyke and there are too many to keep the whole thing from caving in.
We can list all the things this regime is doing and we can talk about it, get upset, and find small ways to stall it, but attacking each individual thing is like going down hundreds of rabbit holes when we need to blow up the whole field because we are always a hundred more steps behind.
The truth is, there is nothing this regime does that is moral or good for anything other than spreading evil and taking power.
Good vs evil? Yep. We need to gather together as humans and leave the politics behind.
The bad guys have come for our children now. They want to pervert them and destroy them in front of you.

Mein Kampf is certainly the blueprint, but as the years progressed through the 30s and until Hitler’s supposed death. Hitler was kept out in front and intoxicated with medications from his doctor while the machinations of the cult shifted over to Himmler, and several other high ranking Nazi officials, who kept the machine well oiled.
The horror of how easily entire populations can be programmed, lead over the cliff like lemmings, and tyrannically manipulated is scary and very evident through observation. What we’re seeing here in the 21st century is very concerning and could easily transition to a similar scenario, vestiges of the 20th century are hardly waning and clearly observable. Marxist doctrine has not waned and threatens as it morphs into globalism, corportism and the forewarned military industrial complex.
A catastrophic extinction event might be the only way out of this dichotomy of polar opposites and totalitarian opposition to liberty and freedom.
So many today not just in power but common people are full of evil and lost souls.

Psychopath with unshakable certitude sounds every bit like how Biden and his party operate.
If been telling my wife for years that our side always loses because we, being good people, can’t comprehend how much the Left hates us. We work from the idea that we both want what’s best for America, we just differ on how to get there. They work from the idea that America needs to be utterly destroyed so their vision of a utopia can be born. The two views are irreconcilable, and the faster our side understands that the better it will be. I still think we out number them, though through the tireless efforts of the public school system and social media that advantage may be shrinking.
