Fixed it for them.
Does taking estrogen really cause a man’s voice to, um, er, raise octave? Sound more feminine? I know one who’s voice is just as low as pre-estrogen.
Lupron is a PubertyBlockers, I think. Those drugs don’t have fed approval for kids. In order to take them, parents must sign permission to take “experimental meds.”
I reread it. The article is about a girl. I didn’t know taking testosterone lowers a girl’s voice.
Missouri didn’t ban kid treatment outright. One can’t take hormones if one has a psychological disorder (beside gender identity disorder) or if one is autistic. I’ve read 65% of Tavistock treated kids were autistic.
First of all, you are using drugs off label.. and the doctors prescribing them to you should be jailed.
Second, your dysphoria is a symptom of deeper psychological issues, all the drugs in the world to try to make you look like the gender you aren’t is NOT going to solve your problems. You are literally a case of psychological and medical malpractice.
Why doesn’t Pausch drive to Kansas? Over the bridge, I assume.
“You are literally a case of psychological and medical malpractice.”
Imagine a world where you try to save people from being subject to human medical experimentation and they turn around and want to kill you to return the favor. Oh wait, we live in that world.
Lupron is USED as a puberty blocker on healthy prepubescent male children. It blocks the production of testosterone to a level of near zero and shrinks the testicles in the process. For cancer patients, this might be a lifesaver since prostate cancer thrives on testosterone, and removing it from the body can stall or even reverse metastasis.
But the effects on the body are still detrimental. Men on this regimen report “hot flashes” and mood swings similar to women in menopause. For advanced stages of cancer, this regimen is ongoing forever, until death.
