I found myself, like many on this forum, unable to sleep soundly last night. I awoke hours earlier than my usual 4:30 and read several postings on the firing of Tucker Carlson.
Unable to go back to sleep, I poured a coffee, and went to the premium YouTube channel (i.e. commercial free and the best informational outlet, next to FR, on TV), and watched a few videos on anti-aging, and the latest endeavors of our little Mars Helicopter.
Eventually, I came across Bill O'Reilly's piece on what happened to Tucker.
BOR, says that the Tucker team were taken by surprise. While they were in the middle of working on Monday night's show, basically a rebuttal of the ridiculous 60 Minutes propaganda on Ray Epps, Carlson was called into the office and told he was fired.
I urge fellow readers here to go to the BOR commentary for some other insight.
Tucker's (and Don Bongino's too) firing leaves me pretty empty. I think I speak for many people here, when I say I left Fox the day after the 2020 Election completely. I refused to watch even 10 seconds of the Network, but
then about 6-8 months later, I slowly returned to Tucker Carlson, to the point that I would watch the show live, or the next day via Youtube or other venue.
He had 4 million viewers. His show was aimed at people like us here.
He exposed things that obviously was uncomfortable for the Fox board, (that includes people like Paul Ryan).
He exposed Fauci, Big Pharma, our media and on and on.
So they silenced him.
In my anxiety caused by his leaving, I had the revelation, that what if Tucker returns, on a platform that allows him freer expression, with a wider audience.
Then it hit me.
THE BEST THING THAT COULD HAPPEN, WOULD BE THAT TUCKER CARLSON SIGNS ON WITH CNN!

Bongino has been explicit in iterating he was NOT fired. Why perpetuate a myth?

Tucker can basically have his own digital network. And there are billion$ ready to back him.
I can’t speak on that. IF that’s true, then I’d like to know why he left.
Regarding Tucker, he was clearly fired, as was Don Lemon.

Slowly, CNN seemed to be changing, maybe for the good,
but it would make a quantum leap in the right direction, (and I’d actually watch it at the airport), if it returned to being a platform for free ideas and commentary, and

Your basic slob out there, doesn’t bother to listen to or watch or to read anything that gives him or her the news.
Plus, we all know, much as a result of Carlson’s expose’s, that the media is controlled by a cabal comprised of a few.
I know he was on CNN at one time. He was the token conservative there.
He’d have an instant platform on a network, viewed around the world.
It would be a real plus for CNN, if they could swing it.
In fact, CNN needs a Tucker Carlson more than a Tucker Carlson needs CNN.
I gotta disagree... CNN is a dieing corpse laying in the gutter. Guilty of every sin known to mankind. Giving it any chance of revival would be salt on a wound to moral America... Js...
That's why I don't think Tucker will go to CNN. He doesn't need them.

Best thing that could happened to a dying network, would be a Tucker Carlson.
Carlson has likely taken the money and run.
After signing both an NDA and a non-compete.
If so, he won’t be going anywhere.
Will Tucker run for President?
On AM radio this morning there was speculation that he might.
He certainly has the name recognition and popularity to do so.
He can address all the right issue, is articulate, young, attractive, and has less baggage than Trump.
BOR says he’s getting his entire salary, and has no non-compete since he was fired.
Seems Mr Carlson was pretty two faced, acting how much he liked Trump and his supporters and behind the scenes said Trump was a demon and his supporters..Maybe you are right CNN might be his cup of tea..
Nope. He will have his own podcast ala Meghan Kelly.
