And let's not forget who's responsible for this either: The so-called "Inflation Reduction Act" which every single person in Congress should be personally held responsible for, including their entire genetic line.
The EPA is about to issue a monster rule that essentially requires the capture of all CO2 emitted by power plants. This is impossible to do at any economically-reasonable cost. It will force up power prices dramatically and likely force offline many natural gas power plants, along with all the remaining coal-fired ones.
This in turn will make your "much loved" electric car much more expensive to fuel since of course you have to plug it in, destroying any alleged "advance" it has in operating cost (which I've gone over before, and is a lie to begin with.)
This comes after the EPA attempted to issue such a rule in the past and the Supreme Court ruled that CO2 was not a pollutant and thus outside the EPA's remit, as the Congress had not granted it the power to do this. The Inflation Reduction Act specifically included the power for the EPA to do this, which is why every single sitting Congressperson and their family deserves to be held personally responsible for every bit of economic harm this will bring to both families and businesses -- and it will not be small.
You may not like the fact that behind every unit of GDP (that is, economic output) there is a unit of energy. I'd prefer it not to be that way too but it is that way and there's nothing you or I can do about that. Our decision is whether or not we wish to have an economy that works for the people who live here or whether we'd like to enhance child slavery in the Congo and, ultimately wind up with a lithium supply problem too because the more we allegedly "rely" on lithium-chemistry batteries in any respect the more of this we promote.
Nations are in fact forming effective cartels to control lithium supply -- there was news on this just last week which was, predictably, buried and not well-reported. The Congo is the source for cobalt without which lithium batteries cannot be made -- and virtually all of it is mined by enslaved children forced to work for about a dollar a day in order to eat....

It is long past time for an Article V Convention of the States.
this is not a bug
it is a feature
ban gas cars
drive up cost of electricity
making evs unaffordable
now everyone’s only option is the bus/train
which was the point of all this crappola to begin with
I agree. It’s about time for some dramatic move by the actual Americans who are left in this country. Our nation is dissolving so rapidly, many of us are still in shock.
or you can score woke loyalty points to keep from freezing to death
turning in your parents will be big bonus points
The Dims lie cheat and steal....
I was born and raised here,,,and what I'm seeing is pathetic. And VERY dangerous.....
Everyone really needs to snap out of it!
Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor??!

The point of all this crappola is to reduce the human population on the planet by 90%. So the maniacal neo-Malthusians who invented the whole CO2 nonsense told us 30 years ago.
We the people are both extremely ignored and passive. This is why The Government can get away with this idiocy.
Yep, that is how it works in Communist countries...
article V will work in their favor not ours. Article V will not turn out as many think it will. we will lose the good we still have and end up with worse. Read our fore fathers writings - they say the last convention of states was run amuck from it’s initial intention, thankfully God allowed us a decent outcome.
It is complete foolishness to think we could do a convention of states in this current USA wacked-out climate and have it turn out good for average CITIZENS. Any one promoting Article V convention is working against our country’s best interest.
Get active - yes active - doing things to hold leaders accountable, all leaders, town thru federal. you already have the power to make change happen. educate yourself, Pray and get active.
“What if Skynet was told to get rid of all carbon emissions? Best strategy: get rid of the humans.”
AI is being filled with all this carbon emission crisis information on the internet, eventually AI will conclude carbon emitting and carbon based life forms must be terminated to save the plannet.
So yea, it is only a matter of time.
Yo, Mtn, have you confimred this legislative issue?
There’s a lot that gets dumped on the internet, a lot of it is false.
Sotty, EPA reg?
As a solar system owner, I can't stand the tax subsidies. Not only do I hate government manipulation of people's behavior; the tax subsidies just artificially inflate prices anyway. In my case, it'll be 3 years before the tax credits pay me back for the increase in prices I had to pay up front.
Of course, my solar won't help much if my state adds a huge flat monthly fee to "the rich" like California is doing.
History will not look kindly upon a people who gaffed off their responsibility to save their posterity from tyranny.
As for “they say the last convention of states was run amuck from it’s initial intention,” you don’t know what you’re talking about.
Educate yourself.
The Framers didn’t leave a hand grenade in their plan of government.
