Few Americans are being politically targeted more than those who identify as transgender, a different gender than the one assigned at birth, or simply by choosing no gender at all.
Transgender people seem like easy targets when you look at the sheer volume of legislative attempts to restrict or ban their actions. However, when you put it to the American people, they are far more likely to be accepting, especially if the person in question knows someone who is transgender.
Even before the shooting in Nashville, Tenn., allegedly by someone who identified as transgender, there have been political attempts to target these Americans. Some may claim religious reasons, but others in politics see this as an excellent “wedge” issue, betting that most Americans find transgender folks to be abhorrent.
Some who never cared much for women’s sports before suddenly began championing it, to “protect girls” from athletes who once were boys. Perhaps it could be spun as a library book issue (back to banning) or a bathroom concern, or even empowering those to block treatments, initially for minors, though we’ve seen states that up those bans well past the minor age.

The author speaks only for himself. I know a transgender person, and I for one am in no way “supportive” of transgenders and their delusions. The tranny I know went to school with me for a period, and we were friendly acquaintances but not friends per se. I once drove him to an event at the request of a mutual friend, and we all got along fine. Long story short... this dude went from Air Force vet and father of one, to dude in dress with bouffant hairdo and acrylic nails. He’s disgusting and insane. His appearance mocks real women. I am no more supportive of him than I am of the schizo homeless person raving in the streets that he’s Jesus and that space aliens are beaming messages into his brain. In fact, I’m even less supportive because the crazy homeless person isn’t constantly demanding that everyone else agree with and pander to his delusions.
Uh, since there is NO SUCH THING as “transgender”, no rights are being violated. EOFS!

And personally IDGAF about trans people. I just want them to leave me alone. If they choose to live their lives by mutilating themselves and can find a doctor willing to meet their desires, fine. But leave children alone and do not demand that I participate in and affirm their mental illness.

If boys - or men - can participate in women's sports by simply claiming that they are a woman, then what is the point of women's sports? Do not the feminists see this?! I cannot wait for some 7-foot man to claim he is a woman and demand to play women's college basketball. Would that put paid to this insanity?
Were the participants in this poll anonymous? I suspect if the person answering the poll had absolute anonymity the results might be different. Talking to a pollster who has your phone number might make someone try to appear neutral or supportive, even though they might actually be appalled or disgusted by “trans” people, in order to avoid retaliation.
Wait until some 250 pound man decides he’s a woman and wants to join women’s boxing.

THEY have MORE rights than anyone else. They can do all the things they want. They get free medical care, political organizations, and entire industry dedicated just to them. They are on every TV show. Pervert dirty old men can pretend to be a woman and go leer at naked underage girls in bathrooms and showers. They get to compete against girls. They are worshipped as heroes for nothing. They have TV shows. Their pedophilia is celebrated and encouraged.
Who else has those right?

There is no such thing as transgender rights. Just like there is no such thing as white rights, black rights or any other so called misrepresented persons rights.
