My lame tablet won't copy right now, so I can't post clip of article. Article starts with "Transgender people are at the center of the GOP's crosshairs". Article estimates about 100 transgender athletes nationwide. "Of the estimated 332 million citizens living in the United States, 1.3 million adults and 300,000 youths ages 13-17 identity as transgender, equaling half a percent and 1.4% of the population respectively, according to report published by Williams Institute, a think tank of UCLA's law school in 2022." Percent of kids 13-17 is 3 times number of adult transgenders?

This link says in 2023, 25.1 million kids in USA are 12-17 years old. Right now, I’m having problems figuring out percentages of population:

O went to the article, but didn’t read the whole thing, but my attention was caught by a Domino’s ad celebrating the Protect Women Act and offering some sort of sale on their products.
Guess the backlash against Bud Light worked: other companies are paying attention!
“The bigger question is, how can such a minority wield the political power they do?”
“ALLIES”, ie, a demented big chunk of the remaining 330 million who are infected with a sense of pathological compassion for the delusionals.
And of course you have the medical industry and big pharma who makes a ton of money catering and encouraging the delusionals.
I dunno the answer, but if that Brittney Grinder is back to playing basketball, there’s one more than there SHOULD be.
Thank you.
It’s just becoming so obvious even I can’t help noticing it😁
Dunno.
Doesn’t really matter it didn’t pass and it or when the GOP-e gains control, they will drop it like a hot potato like they’ve done to border control, the deficit, repealing Obamacare, etc, ect.
Bravo!
I realized while reading the WSJ magazine today how many “transgender women” are taking over modeling of women’s clothing. Seriously. They’re called “girls” or “women” or “she” in the media, but it’s obvious that they’re male. Sometimes, it’s extremely obvious when they’re wearing swimsuits or tight slinky dresses. Fashion design and theater have always been attractive spheres for gay men, so it’s no wonder that young men dressed as women are preferable to the female models they usually have modeling their designs. Natal women (as JK Rowling call real women) are rapidly being shoved out of every sphere that once belonged to them. It’s sexist. It’s misogyny. And it’s wrong.
Exactly. If even one woman is unfairly denied a trophy, medal, scholarship, million-dollar contract, it’s wrong, unfair and unjust. Is there an allowable number of victims of injustice? If it were that writer’s daughter who was shoved aside by a biological man, then what would she say? Rare is beside the point. Lynchings were relatively rare but that doesn’t make even one acceptable by any stretch of the imagination. What number of slaves is acceptable? So “researcher and medical physicist Joanna Harper” opines that she doubts there are even 100 men in women’s sports. Well, you can bet that means that at least 100 women were screwed out of the fruits of their hard-earned labors. The U.S. Women’s Soccer Team was beaten by a team of 15-year-old boys, after all, so just about any male athlete is going to beat a woman.
Have you seen the wedding photo?
It absolutely is NOT 1.4% of the population. This is an outright lie…
According to my math.. 1.6 million transgenders from a population of 300 -MILLION is .004% NOT 1.4%.
*shudder* No.
I have no idea where the author gets 1.4% in the figuring.
“…it is how many college girls and other women athletes are upset by men in their locker rooms and showers…”
They maybe males, but they sure ain’t men!
My guess is that the author is a product of our magnificent education system.
