The family of a young wrestler who was sucker punched by his unsportsmanlike opponent has decided to press charges after the aspiring athlete suffered a nose injury.
The decision comes following the shocking moment when youth wrestler Hafid Alicea delivered a sucker punch to Cooper Corder after losing, sending his rival crashing to the mat.

Oddly enough, I don’t have to answer to you.
Especially since you are clearly an obtuse moron who is unable to address a simple fact.
I see. You approve of Hafid Alicea’s unprovoked assault and battery.
That’s very disturbing, but I’m glad to know.
Lacking interesting and intelligent respondents, it started, instead a firestorm of braying hyenas demanding me to address something else.
It's the jackal effect. In inner cities the same mentality expressed by these people here is expressed by trashing Wal Marts.
You lack any ability to reason intelligently. Therefore I don’t care what you think.
The way the winner’s head whiplashed back is scary.
The loser’s sense of privilege is even scarier.
One of the first things you need to learn as a big guy is how to control your physical actions. You can be scary to other people, and it’s important to convey peacefulness. It’s just something guys learn to do without really thinking about it.
Unfortunately even in pro athletics dirty and late hit happen. Self control can be difficult when you’re amped up to 11.
Just the facts.
LOL!!!
You funny Fido!! Really funny....
You're starting to make excuses for Hafid Alicea.
Do you approve of his assault and battery? Do you think it is in any way excusable?
Answer honestly, Fido.
However, I am not going to answer to a cretinous bully who demands others do things at his will, and attacks them when they don't.
You're more like the infantile Hadid than you think.
Well, you are acting like one. There are certain things trolls do: deflect, make false and unfounded accusations, baseless assertions that are designed to take the discussion off the subject at hand.
Rather than address the direct issue - the truthful statement that Lombardi and Patton said those things - the troll will draw unwarranted conclusions.
In my many years of experience with people, there are two reasons people will draw improper conclusions:(1) they are stupid and unable to reason, or (2) they are trying to manipulate, distract and confuse.
1) You posted bluster and braggadocio from a dead football coach, expressing his disdain for “losers”. That’s actually a bit funny, since he himself did not have a perfect winning record.
2) You posted his bluster and braggadocio on a thread about some shitbird committing assault and battery on the winner of an athletic competition which the shitbird lost
3) You failed to produce any examples of the dead football coach committing or approving of assault and battery consequent to losing an athletic competition. Such examples simply don’t exist, so your failure to provide them is unsurprising.
4) You have repeatedly declined to answer as to whether or not you approve of the shitbird committing assault and battery.
5) You have offered a generic excuse for criminal violence as a response to losing an athletic competition.
6) You sneer and rant at anyone questioning your purpose in posting the dead football coach’s bluster and braggadocio.
The floor is yours, sir. I cordially invite you to explain yourself.
Have you looked at yourself in the mirror lately? I would suggest you do.......
Hey that’s pretty clever. I’ll bet that was funny in fourth grade.
Too bad your education never got past that.
Thank you.
Do you dispute that the General and football coach said those things?
I yield the floor.
Which is an insult to the memories of Patton and Lombardi because neither of those good men would ever condone the despicable action of this loser who sucker punched the person who won the match fair and square.
Do you think Lombardi would okay with Bart Starr, after losing a game, walk up to the winning QB and punch him in the face?
That is what you were insinuating with your post #11 and many of us called you out on it, and rightfully so.
Now all of us say stupid things on Free Republic from time to time, including myself. Sometimes the prudent thing to do is to just log off and take a break for a while.
I’m just telling you what they said. Your attributed motive is yours, not mine.
You used those quotes to justify the actions of this punk kid sucker punching the kid who beat him fair and square in a wrestling match.
There could be no other reason for you to bring those quotes into the discussion. And you were rightfully called out on it.
There could be no other reason for you to bring those quotes into the discussion.
So, you can read my mind. You are sure I used the quotes "to justify the actions".
Huh.
"No other reason"
I see you are a brilliant one. Mere morals melt when faced with the brilliance of your perfect deductive reasoning. There can be no other explaination then any you would come up with.
Besides, our comments are based on what you posted, not what was in your mind.
No. Nor have I ever. Check the record, sir, and you will see that I speak the truth.
Now ... We both know that Vince Lombardi did not engage in criminal assault after the conclusion of an athletic competition, nor did his players.
Questions for you:
1) Do YOU approve of criminal assault by players on other players following an athletic competition? That's a simple yes or no question.
2) Do you think Vince Lombardi considered such behavior appropriate in any way, shape, or form? That's also a simple yes or no question.
3) Given the nature of your comments so far, you have some serious explaining to do.
FTR, I consider GENERAL Patton's comment irrelevant. His specialty was war. COACH Lombardi's comment is relevant; his specialty was athletic competition. Anyone who cannot distinguish war from athletic competition should not be engaged in either. Such a person will not likely take war seriously enough, while taking athletic competition too seriously.
The floor is again yours.
