So, pretending a fight between Bruce Lee and Ali actually took place, and you think Ali would never touch Lee, how do you reconcile that for a fight to occur, Bruce Lee would have to become within striking range at some point to attack?
Ali was both much taller, and twice the weight of Bruce Lee. Please let’s not discuss the choreographed fight of Kareem Abdul-Jabar in Game of Death. The professional boxer of Muhammad Ali caliber, with his strength and speed would be almost too dangerous for someone of Lee’s size, who could actually die from one blow from Ali.
I contend Bruce Lee wouldn’t even harm Ali, because he simply can’t overcome the weight and body mass difference, which Ali could absorb all the punishment a 120 lb man can dish out, as impressive as it would look.
The subject was boxing vs martial arts.
We aren’t using strict boxing rules here!
I can see that you don’t know a lot about Bruce Lee!
Lee had a one inch punch that could, and did knock down bigger men than Ali.
Of course, you are correct, if the fight was strictly boxing rules ... Ali would have killed Lee.
Even Lee said so .. “Look at my hand. That’s a little Chinese hand. He’d kill me.”
Lee actually incorporated Ali’s footwork into his routines.
