Welcome Lady Gaga to the White House!

President Joe Biden announced on Thursday, April 13 that he has appointed legendary pop star and Oscar-winning actor Lady Gaga to co-chair his Committee on the Arts and the Humanities.

Gaga will serve as co-chair of the committee along with American Beauty and Milk producer Bruce Cohen. Other members of the committee include Kerry Washington, Jon Batiste, George Clooney, Jennifer Garner, Shonda Rhimes, Troy Kotsur, Marta Kauffman.

She went on the David Letterman show years ago. I had heard the name but didn’t know anything about her. She showed up in a weird outfit with a mask on for the first ten minutes.

But, after listening to her talk about her business, practicing with all of the dancers, etc. she seemed pretty bright as well as talented. And a hard worker and a fair boss. Not sure why we have to have a presidential committee for the arts, but she might do a good job, except I think she’ll have little patience for the bureaucracy.

I still don’t know any of her songs or stuff though.
