So, you oppose a Republican who is not a conservative that meets your bias.

The man is a leader among the Afro Heritage Minority-Minority and must be allowed to come forward as a splendid example of what can be. When compared to the Weaponized Tennessee Two or to the despicable Alvin Bragg, Tim Scott’s high visibility might just cause enough Afro Heritage voters to join the minority-minority.

Demeaning Tim Scott is really bad form

Tim’s biggest fan is Trey Gowdy. I’m sure Trey talked him into it. I would never vote for either one of these people.

“Tim McRomBush”

Pretty much. I think that he’s already gone tribal*, but cannot remember the specific issue.

*meaning ‘votes the cause’, rather than voting conservative.

I thought that it might be a relative of Ray Scott the great sportsman. Probably not I imagine.

He can stay in the Senate. He’s not a leader. He’s a follower, as evidenced by his Murkowski endorsement. We don’t need any more of his like, no matter what his heritage.

That’s why I call him Tim McRomBush. He’s the same old thing, or as one of the founders put it, “pork still, with a little change of the sauce.”

How did that work out for us?

Yep, he waved the PRO-RINO flag when he supported Murkowski.

Again you miss the point....... badly

The point is that the man presents a splendid example of one who is not the ordinary run of the mill totally corrupt Black politician. He is an example to be followed as one not kowtowing to the mass of Black trash politicos. His message must be delivered and heard.

The visible presence of a genuine leader that exemplifies what is and what can be. He is striving to be President. He is not Democrat mediocrity. He is not corrupt Black Riff Raff.

By narrowmindedly damning him you do damage to the Republican and non progressive effort

“This is Podolak.” An announcer of few words. We all loved him.
Yes, he is related to Ray Scott, and George C. Scott.

I got the point. I don’t play that stupid “look we have a black guy too” game or “hey, look at our black guy” game. Because it IS a game. And means NOTHING on the Republican side. Remember when a Republican president appointed the first black secretary of state. Yawn from the black community. Or the second black secretary of state? Yawn from the black community. But the first native American secretary of the interior, boy that’s something isn’t it...because she’s a Democrat. That’s how this stupid game is played.

I don’t care that Tim Scott is black. He’s a mediocrity. And his “visual presence” will mean nothing. He’ll be called an oreo just as Herman Cain was, just as Clarence Thomas is, etc.

Once again you miss the point....... badly

The message is not for you or for me. The message is to perhaps a few Afro Heritage Citizens who are disgusted with the Blackness of American politics that has divided rather than unite Americans. They can desert the democrats and feel comfortable as an Afro Heritage Minority-Minority American Citizen.

The message is not limited to a narrow conservative message. The scope of presidential politics transcends the ordinary and narrow. The message is that there is a place for some who are disgusted with the racial bent of the Democrat party. The message of an Afro Heritage Presidential candidate voice to others is come join us.

The point is to proselytize maybe an additional 5-10% of the leftist wing votes

Oh, I’m sorry. You belong to the Conservative party?

How many elections has the Conservative party won.

Oh that’s right. I forgot. There is no conservative party.

On Free Republic, many here hate just about all Republicans. It’s hard to have dialogue with some people here, because if you say anything favorable about some Republicans, you get responses such as how that person is too liberal, is a RINO, A McBush type, etc. and then the conversation is over.

I dislike that attitude among some here, but that attitude is clearly seen on this thread.

You’re one of them...
You know, the you have to vote for the republiCAN’T because..
Because....
Well, just because.

No, I have a brain and I use it!!!
The reason this country is in the shape it is in is because of the bush league chamber of commerce worshiping republiCAN’Ts, the backstabbing liars that somehow keep getting elected.
They keen getting elected because of YOU!!
So, go ahead and embrace the suck that you have created.

New flash kids nobody’s perfect. Everyone wants their perfect Republican candidate and they will argue when someone else is in favor of someone they don’t approve of because they’re not the perfect candidate. Stakes are too high for that mess. We. Need. To. Stop. Infighting. It’s embarrassing and not productive. over a decade ago when some of us could see where this country was headed and how much it and its constituents had changed folks here thought oh we’ll fix this at The ballot box we’ll just wait for election day. And our guy won. Ask this, are we any better off? If we don’t come together first and foremost absolutely nothing will change in the trajectory will stay on course even if it’s diverted briefly it will revert back. In case you haven’t noticed what we are witnessing, what we’re living through, is not merely the follies of men but of spiritual warfare.
