I usually get the seasonal flu shot in the Fall, and it’s usually painless, but the last one I got in September was painful because the nurse was not paying attention to what she was doing...........................

I’ve noticed the different nurse skill levels, too. Some are so good you get the shot and it’s over before you know it. Others are more “Oooh...” sting, but not quite an “Ouch.”

The pain with the flu vaccine comes in the next 24 hours. I sometimes get a slightly sore injection site, but it’s usually hardly noticeable.
