The Bud Light marketing executive whose team oversaw its disastrous partnership with trans activist Dylan Mulvaney vowed to lead an inclusivity revolution at the brand and ditch its 'fratty' image.
Alissa Gordon Heinerscheid was hired to overhaul Bud Light's marketing in June 2022 with the vision of freshening up its image.
Her team was responsible for Bud Light's widely-lauded Super Bowl ad featuring Miles Teller and his wife Keleigh Sperry, and 'the Bud Light Carry' ad, which shows a woman carrying a round of beers to a table of friends without spilling a drop.
Those ads were part of Heinerscheid's vision to make the brand more female friendly - something she has described as a 'passion point'.
But that vision was swiftly cut down on April 3 with the brand's partnership with Dylan Mulvaney, a controversial trans activist with a mass following on social media, which proved to be a step too far for Bud Light's loyal customers.
Kid Rock was among the first to criticize the partnership and lead a boycott, with other conservative consumers, distributors and suppliers following suit.
Heinerscheid has not commented on the scandal.
A graduate of Wharton business school, she has been hailed in interviews as the first woman to 'lead' Bud Light in its 41-year history.
On March 30, in an interview with the Make Yourself at Home podcast, she told of her strategy to ditch Bud Light's 'fratty' reputation and embrace inclusivity to attract a young generation of drinkers.

Not soon enough!
What the hell does “fratty” mean?
She will get promoted! No company wants to go up against the bidetnazi regime.
Have y’all seen “her” photo?
That a tranny was picked as a spokesperson comes as no surprise to me.
And they say American’s boycotting stuff doesn’t’ work?
lol...
another well-educated idiot
I asked that yesterday. I have no clue
“How soon before Budweiser fires her?”
I would bet they ride it out. And possibly go FURTHER left.
I would guess that AB is banking on American’s short term memory brand loyalty and just being creatures of habit. That the loyal Bud drinkers will soon forget about any Trans stuff and go back to Bud Light soon.
And in the mean time, they will have picked up some LGB... people.
Can you imagine a woman in Manhattan trying to market beer to men in flyover country?
Sounds like A-B needs a diversity program to get some good ol’ boys into her department.
Bars are dropping this beer from their stock and going with other brands. That will last a long time. that won’t be forgotten. Once your brand is dropped and another brand is picked up do you know how hard it is to get back in?
This was a terrible mess up.
“Those ads were part of Heinerscheid’s vision to make the brand more female friendly...”
So that’s why you hired a queer man dressed as a woman...brilliant.
The Budweiser Clydesdales now self identify as unicorns and will appear at gay pride parades instead of rodeos or football games.
I’d like to believe you are right.
But, unfortunately, I am not optimistic.
10 on the dumb scale.
I think it’s a slur word used for those evil fraternities.
Think Spuds McKenzie.
I’m remembering commercials from back then, and I can see that term being somewhat relevant.
One web ad that only aired on Mulvaney’s own feed. Clearly a mistake, but she hardly made Mulvaney the face of Bud Light. I guess I don’t get invested enough in beer advertising to get super bent out of shape about these things.
White college boy. Cisgender. Loves capitalism, America and Jesus, even if they drink too much booze and party all the time.
The vilest type of person in the universe, according to the Woke. It’s okay to punch a Nazi, so violence against them is on the approved list.
There is a central element pulling the advertising strings and these guys have been suckered into the trendy advertising gimmicks.
We have seen this many times over the years with smart housewives and dumb husbands, smarter that their parents little kids, gays, blacks and mixed couples in countless commercials.
Now the trend is tranny. I expect to see more because the ad agencies say so.
