Country music star John Rich has joined Travis Tritt and Kid Rock in boycotting Bud Light as the controversy over the beer giant retaining trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney as an ambassador rages on.
During an appearance on Tucker Carlson Tonight on Monday, Rich confirmed that he was removing the beer from this Nashville bar, Redneck Riviera.
'The customers decide. Customers are king. I own a bar in downtown Nashville. Our number one selling beer up until a few days ago was what? Bud Light. We got cases and cases and cases of it sitting back there.'
'But in the past several days you're hard-pressed to find anyone ordering one. So as a business owner, I go, hey if you aren't ordering it, we got to put something else in here. At the end of the day, that's capitalism. That's how it works,' he added.
The popular beer brand's partnership with the influencer in recent days sparked a wave of outrage among conservative social media personalities, who attacked the company for supposedly turning to 'woke' advertising.
Mulvaney, who is known for her popular series, on TikTok documenting her gender transition, first posted a sponsored Instagram reel on Saturday coinciding with the final days of the NCAA's March Madness tournament.
In the video, Mulvaney cracks open a regular can of Bud Light, chats about March Madness, promotes a Bud Light contest and says that the brand had also sent her a special can with her face on it to celebrate the year anniversary of documenting her transition.
Country musician Kid Rock soon chimed in, posting a video of him wearing a 'MAGA' hat while shooting a rifle at packs of Bud Light. He was joined by Travis Tritt in boycotting the brand over the post.

I hear from my cousins both work for Bud distributors that their warehouses are FULL of unsold products and stores are asking them to take back stock.
I believe you. I’ve been seeing youtube videos of stores with all other beers sold out but Bud and Bud light. No one will touch it. This was a horrible mistake.
Same here. Except when I was in Korea bar-hopping. When I was there, there were only two brands of beer allowed in the bars there, Budweiser and OB (Oriental Brewing). OB was almost always skunked, so Bud it was.

We must stop using the left’s words and terminology. It emboldens them.
Mulvaney is a male, and thereby is a “he” by definition. He is doing this not just for show, but for all the moolah flowing his way. If he thinks he will make the Mulvaney name good, he’s wrong. He has spit upon his family.
I don’t drink it. Never liked it but it is iconic. I mean those Clydedales and all. Plus someone was buying it for it to be this boycotted now.
Budweiser was freaking stupid! They should have put a Clydesdale on the beer can not a freak.
Is there some way to use those cases, they are paid for after all. If nothing else, dump the contents and get some change at a recycle center.

Sorry John, but with a name like "Redneck Riviera," the marketing wizards at Bud Light already had you and your customers marked for elimination. You know, "fratty and out of touch" types.

I was furious when I watched Greg Kelly of Newsmax sitting and seriously interviewing one of the first of these mentally ill men.....one Bruce Jenner. Kelly talked to him as though he were a female, even addressed Bruce as Kaitlyn. I wondered where he had to leave his man-card while he did the interview. A healthy, red-blooded man would have some strong words for such a sicko.
Never would buy it myself, but Bud Light wasn't offensive. It was a standard light beer: low hops flavor, relatively bland, low calorie, like beer-soda. If there was a blind taste-test with coors light, michelob ultra, miller lite, etc... I would not be able to tell any of them apart.
Now I'm certainly not going to to touch it, Corona, Stella, Becks any longer.

This is apparent here in Brevard County, FL. About 40% of the Publix beer coolers are dedicated to AB products. When we grabbed groceries yesterday the AB section was well stocked but the other beers were mostly MIA. Just a few flavored and niche IPAs for beer, and the Trulys-type drinks left.
Gotta love it, the masses have spoken.
