Protesters inside the Tennessee State Capitol blamed the National Rifle Association and Speaker of the House Cameron Sexton for the death of six victims who were killed by a transgender shooter.
Demonstrators gathered inside the Tennessee State Capitol on Thursday ahead of a vote to expel three Democrat State Representatives who disrupted the chamber while advocating for increased gun control measures.
Democrats in the volunteer state have turned their attention to gun control after a transgender shooter targeted a Christian school, taking the lives of three young children and three adults. Though the shooter left behind a manifesto, it has not been released to the public.

Logically I know it’s this bad, emotionally it’s hard to accept so many youths from Tennessee have joined the far left.

They don't want debate, they want power. There's no point in trying to reason with them, at best, they'll want to "meet in the middle", always and forever racheting away from our God-given rights, toward tyranny. RKBA folks might have been forgiven "debating" the GCA of 1968, but the only good thing that came out of that was the "Revolt at Cincinnati" ten years later that evicted the accomodationists on the NRA board, and created a well funded and organized gun rights movement.
But other than that, these people are not honestly seeking debate. They will strip away our rights one by one, until the only guns left are those in the government's hands. History, including the recent history of the US should give us no doubt about how that all turns out.

If they don’t like the second ammendment, let them modify it. It is true that the NRA can be expected to oppose them. Hell, I am not in the NRA (prefer Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership) and I will oppose them too.
But you can’t fix violence with action against the guns, it is people who are the problem. Now, I would support more mental health activity if it could be shown that these adherents would act to keep these violent people incarcerated. Yes, they need to be locked up, otherwise they will get a gun and do harm. (Or find some other way, like a car, lead pipe, bomb? — Just get these people off the street.)
