This is the horrifying moment a 15-year-old high school student punched a teacher in the head while demanding to get his cell phone.
Footage circulating Twitter shows the student standing intimidatingly close to the shorter educator repeatedly asking for his '******* phone' before swinging his fist into the teacher's face.
Lamar High School in Houston sent a letter to families with principal Rita Graves saying that this type of behavior won't be tolerated and that administrators were looking at ways to prevent this happening again.
Neither student or teacher have been publicly identified at this time.
In the clip a student repeatedly says 'give me my ******* phone back' the teacher calmly asking the student to 'sit down.'
'Give me my phone,' the student his heard saying yet again and appearing exasperated.
The student is then seen leaning back and punching the teacher square in the face as a bystander who is out of frame screams in disbelief.
The person filming is seen quickly ending the recording as the savage attack takes place.
DailyMail.com has contacted students, parents and Lamar High School's principal Graves for comment.
Speaking to KHOU 11 Texas branch of the American Federation of Teachers (AFT), the second largest teacher's labor union in America, said the kid has made a 'huge mistake.'

Let’s say some positive things about this young man.
!) He’s being true to his culture.
2) He’s not guilty of acting white.
Teacher needs to file a lawsuit against the parents, they are responsible for their minor child.
I got paddled in 7th grade. I have no idea what brought it on, but it sure never happened again. Mr. Music was about 6’4”, and it sure wasn’t for show. Could have stunted my growth if you get my drift. Never told my folks.
He’ll be dead before he’s 20. That at least is some comfort.
Didn’t this same thing happen just a few weeks ago, or is this story about the same incident? I thought the other incident was somewhere in Florida, but I could be wrong.
The teachers’ unions have gone full-out, hard-core brownshirts. They’re not merely acquiescing to such policies; they’re demanding them. The new policy is that kids get to beat the shit out of their teachers, as long as they have an IEP (”Individualized Education Plan”). Inability to control anger, and a predisposition towards rageful, hate-fueld anger are now “disabilities,” and administrations now blame teachers on “the inability to control their classrooms” as the cause of any student violence, even when the teachers are the victims, and other teachers incite the rage and hatred.
It happens dozens of times a day in classrooms across America. Just once in a while, someone gets a good camera angle and a local TV news team with a slow day and a disposition to make a story of it.
All other variables aside, you don’t just stand nose to nose with someone without having your hands up in some fashion, even just by some faux hand gesturing.
And you don’t get into a verbal confrontation within easy swing reach of the other person.
The teachers dress like they’re at a rummage sale. No wonder no one thinks anything important is happening.
Time to crank up the school to jail pipeline again.
A good point and an important element of Left's "remaking America" agenda.
Also on the agenda is reducing the efficacy of Law Enforcement and our state and federal criminal judicial systems.
"It was the Republican Party that passed the 13th Amendment, abolishing slavery. It was the Republican Party that passed the 14th Amendment, giving Black men citizenship. It was the Republican Party that passed the 15th Amendment, giving Black men the right to vote."
The dems, of course, put a modern spin on these embarrassing facts. and today do all they can to keep the descendants of those slaves dependent on the planation.
Our government and the public school systems have worked hard to throw God out of this country. And when you do you open the door to followers of Satan! imho
Expel the student and prosecute him.
3) He’s displaying his “no filter” trait.
4) He “jus can’t hep it!”
“Lamar High School in Houston sent a letter to families with principal Rita Graves saying that this type of behavior won’t be tolerated and that administrators were looking at ways to prevent this happening again.”
Hints for Rita on discouraging recurrence: publicly flog this offender to near death; throw him out of the entire school system (he can try for a GED in prison); arrest and charge him with felony assault and battery of a senior citizen; sue his parent(s)/guardian for several million dollars; repeat the public flogging until he begs for forgiveness.
And when someone winds back like he did, step back and put your hands up.
America’s best newspaper is British!
Had a sixth grade teacher, Mrs. Bolton (~60 yrs old) who nailed me with a chalk eraser from about 25 feet. Don’t recall what I was doing but I certainly didn’t do it again.
