Video being widely shared on social media captures an enraged man trashing the counter at the NY Chicken and Grill on Branch Avenue in Temple Hills until a restaurant worker fights back chasing him outside.
A second video shows the man ramming the store in a tow truck. It all happened at about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The damage done is visible. A boarded up hole in the front of the restaurant. A man at the restaurant, in fear for his own safety, not wanting to be identified, told 7News he’s furious.
‘Its just absurd what happened you know something like this should not happen. Come in, get your food and go home and enjoy your food that’s it,” he said. “I just want this guy arrested, you know, he has to pay for what he’s done.”
The man says the attacker came in at closing time. He ordered chicken and waffles. He was served but then demanded wings. When the restaurant manager said it was too late to cook wings the man became enraged and attacked.
“His behavior is just mind boggling you know,” said the man at the restaurant. He said the restaurant worker fought back to protect the staff and other customers.
“We can’t let people get away with these kind of stuff,” the man added. Prince George’s Police are now reviewing store security video and trying to the attacker and the tow truck.
Officers responded to the New York Chicken and Grill in the 2900 block of Colebrooke Drive in Temple Hills on Tuesday around 1:25 a.m. Employees said the suspect was upset over an order and started causing physical damage to the restaurant.
The suspect then assaulted an employee who attempted to intervene. After leaving the restaurant, the suspect rammed his tow truck into the business before fleeing the scene, which was caught on camera by witnesses.
The employee suffered minor injuries during the altercation. Police say this remains a very active investigation.

They’ll catch him, but why? Somewhere in Maryland there’s a judge who can’t wait to put this guy back on the street.
The way things are now they’d probably arrest the restaurant worker not the perpetrator.
Well, he did smash the guy's cell phone after he destroyed the door.
Never put People Who Annoy Each Other in the same restaurant together.

The “Free State,” especially neighborhoods like Temple Hill, are comparable to the ghettos in D.C. or any of our other rat infested and ‘rat-run cities. You’d have to be mentally challenged to even THINK about going anywhere near those sh*tholes!
Sentence: a year in the slammer, a $1,000 fine, payment for repair of all damages, and a court order to never set foot on that property again.

If you want to lower the crime rate, quit arresting people.
