That’s not the guitar for sale. Thats the REAL iconic guitar, his frankenstrat. the one for sale is a later version he got from an endorsement deal. He did play it, it’s just not THE guitar EVH fans associate with him.

The guitar: Ummm, no, well it depends. The one at auction, and that he played in the official video, was a single pickup (humbucker in the bridge position) and no pickguard, not a double pickup with pickguard. Over time he had a couple of them with that taped pattern, different configurations.
