Bronx judge rips grieving mom before cutting her son’s accused killer loose
A soft-on-crime Bronx judge ripped a grieving mom in court before cutting her teen son’s accused killer free without bail, court records obtained by The Post show.
Bronx Criminal Court Judge Naita Semaj on Wednesday refused to delay the arraignment of ex-con Tyresse Minter for just a few minutes so that the heartbroken mom of teen victim Corde Scott could face the accused killer, according to court transcripts.
“What does that have to do with what we’re doing here?” Semaj snapped at Bronx prosecutor Christopher Conway when he asked if the judge could wait for mom Karen Glenn to arrive.
Conway said Glenn was in the hallway outside the courtroom.
“I understand that you might want her to be sitting here in the courtroom, but what does that have to do with the actual task at hand?” Semaj told the prosecutor.

I don’t disagree. :(
Naita Semaj?????? SOFT on CRIME....HARD on VICTIMS.... WHERE are these people coming from???<P.ALL DEMOCRATS ARE EVIL!
Is THAT THING the Judge??? OMG!!! Even worse than I thought!!
Looks like they got her from a mental institution!
New York is a Chocolate City it seems.
ALL the Pale people need to LEAVE NYC!
I need to get out of America ASAP....I HATE ALL DEMOCRATS!
True
but I am promoting “pseudo justice” as the new term
and my slogan: If you’re soft on crime then I’m hard on you.”
Never happen. Almost all of us are nothing mote than pussies.
There is no hope of resistance without a hoarde of angry people.
And not a single white face in the crowd behind her.
How has such a small group taken such power?
Same. And after Chicago's election, we just have to conclude that this is the world the residents of these cities want to live in.
Who am I to tell them no?
Someone must’ve been steering this young man in the right direction. But, if his mother was the one raising him right, why did she let the stepdad move back in after he served time for pistol-whipping and shooting someone?
Right now, it looks like everyone let this boy down.
Another freak.
That article says the boy was bullied at school.
According to the article:
The "stepdad" picked him up from school that day because he'd been bullied. Then the "stepdad" got angry with him for being bullied, and he killed him (supposedly during a "scuffle") at home.
One of the biggest dangers to a mother’s child is a man who is not that child’s biological father. Some women lose all sense of judgment when choosing new “boyfriends.” This is why the traditional family unit is so important. Is it perfect? No. Nothing is. Is it better than this crap? Most certainly.
I fully agree. It is a rare man that enters a relationship with a woman and accepts her children (by another man) as his own. More often than not, the children are seen by the new man as an annoyance, who not only "gets in the way" of his relationship with the woman, but compete for her affection as well.
Now most men in this situation would never physically harm children but they will do a number on them emotionally. I have close family members who grew up in broken households. They tend to have cold, distant relationships with their stepfather (and stepmother as the case may be).
When the single parent takes on a new partner, the children are often shunted to the side and left to fend for themselves.
True. Most people are not violent, but the relationship is often cold and unloving.
Indeed. And sometimes a single father's girlfriend hurts or kills a child.
In this case, the "stepdad" (28) was only 13 years older than the boy.
And, with his record, the mother knew this "stepdad" was bad news.
Some articles also say the boy was bullied at school. Heartbroken for this boy...
