Yeah, I think trying to scale a frozen waterfall qualifies you for the title “adventurer”.

This is why hobbits don’t like adventures.

While you’re busy not petting the bison, don’t forget to not climb on ice columns in the spring.

They watched too many TV commercials with CGI thrill seekers. Well at least they got a taste of the
gusto on the way out.
These folks should have stayed home, opened the freezer, and grabbed some ice cubes instead. Maybe make a daiquiri.

Fun reading all the comments by the "Couch Potato Wussie" brigade: adventure has risks and this lady lost her life saving another.
She was a hero. The rest of you, not so much.

“But O’Neill wound up crushed beneath “two huge blocks of ice,” resulting in her death.”
Should have been in a bar with a couple of small blocks of ice in her drink.

Reminds me of that plane crash in DC in the 80s. Survivors were awaiting rescue in the Potomac by a chopper hovering overhead. A guy in the river had the rescue rope right in front of him several times yet he handed it to people nearby each time. The guy died but the people near him lived.
