Yeah, I think trying to scale a frozen waterfall qualifies you for the title “adventurer”.
Back in college I went with a buddy to go climb an ice falls. No ropes. He made it up to the top (he was a climber).
I had never done anything like that before. I made it up about six feet and then my legs started shaking uncontrollably from the nerves. As much as I tried to calm them down (I didn’t think I was scared in my mind), they wouldn’t stop shaking. I tried several times but never got more than 6 feet up.
Looking back I thought how amazing the body is - when it can recognize something stupid even when I didn’t!
More like a Darwin contestant, or revive the 1000 Ways to Die tv series.
