The libs have a stronghold in Davidson County, TN (Nashville). Not to be confused with Williamson County (also Nashville area, includes Brentwood) that is solidly Republican. Unfortunately the woke Hollywood libs are infiltrating Nashville and turning everything to crap there, and not just the culture. The Nashville mayor jacked up their local taxes and is a big part of the ongoing problem.
Fortunately TN is still the second-lowest state for overall taxation, after Alaska (gives out an annual oil cash dividend).

If I had known what the world would be like when we had our kids, I would have thought long and hard about having them.
My grandson was born prematurely at about 20 weeks and only survived a few hours. A vax statistic I believe knowing the circumstances surrounding my d-i-l’s early labor. And things weren’t that bad even a year and a half ago. The world has become so screwed up, that now I can’t help think he’s the fortunate one. He went from the womb, to a few hours knowing nothing but the love of his parents, and now an eternity in heaven with God.
There are worse ways to live and die.

Folks had a chance to, at least, hold all of that in check a few years ago and vote for Carol Swain. One person on here told me that Swain didn’t get their vote because she didn’t have a clear plan to deal with the traffic situation.
So, of all the other things going in that city, traffic, something no one can do anything about unless you put a multi-year moratorium on ALL development, was their #1 priority. The Leftist plague from the previous and current mayor didn’t rank that high.
