[H/T ExTexasRedhead]Heads up folks!
This is a major consumer products alert…
Do you love to cook with spices?
Of course, who doesn’t?
Variety is the spice of life, and spices are the, uhhhh, spice of cooking!
But what happens when you reach for the Onion Powder or the Oregano, and along with those you get a heavy dose of Arsenic?
Arsenic would otherwise be known as literal “rat poison”.
Or Cadmium, which is a heavy metal.
Or Lead!
You know how we can no longer use lead-based-paint or leaded gasoline because of how toxic it is to humans?
What if the big companies had been putting it in your spices all along and you didn’t even know?
What if one of the reasons you constantly feel tired, slow and unmotivated is because you’re slowly being poisoned by what you eat?
It’s a Red Alert 🚨 situation, and I’m here to not only give you the bad news but also to give you a solution!
I never like to leave you with only the bad news, so keep reading and I’ll give you the solution to fix this for yourself and your family.

This latest fright is similar to the ubiquitous Proposition 65 warnings notices in California that have been around since 1986. Most people don't pay any attention to those "cancer/reproductive health warnings" that are posted on just about everything, and they haven't paid attention to them for decades.
CR tested 126 products from McCormick, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, and other popular brands. Almost a third had heavy metal levels high enough to raise health concerns.

It's in rice bran - which makes people who eat brown rice because it is "healthier" look extremely stupid. Asians always wash rice carefully and virtually never eat brown rice.
Not hard to believe that walmart sells crap though
Arsenic is in apricot seeds and in Almonds. Apricot seeds were once used to treat cancer. Arsenic is also blood pressure drug isn’t it?
Nice.
Apricot pits have cyanide not arsenic. Here’s a list of high arsenic foods.

Do you know where most spices are grown? The Middle East. A place where they wipe their butts with their left hand.
I have been growing and drying as much of my own as possible the last few years.
Some common spices can be perennials even herein the north. Some of those are oregano, thyme, and sage. Others can be more cold sensitive and yet produce a great crop in one summer, like rosemary and basil.
I tried marjoram but it didn’t grow very well. There are others I need to investigate.
Garlic is a ridiculously easy crop to grow. Almost nothing bothers it or kills it.
Nice. Thank you!
Like you, I use spices in my cooking frequently. However, I use fresh herbs as often as possible, over the dried version. They just taste better. I’ve even taking to drying the ones that are fresh when I know it’s remaining days have limited shelf life.

Just added that one image with growing location suggestions.
That’s very pretty! Giving me some food for thought for my herb garden this year!
All 100 percent natural. What’s the problem?
looks great!
Now, why don't you set your hair on fire and run around in circles screaming?
I am bored today.
I’ve heard they’re easy to grow so I’m going to give it a shot. Actually I’m starting to think about growing all my fruits and vegetables too. Buying all organic is too expensive and I worry about all the crap they are spraying these things with. I also expect food prices to continue going up so that’s just one more reason to start growing my own.

That said, there are arsenic compounds which are vital to human health, in very very small quantities.
