The show started off with a somber tone as country singer and co-host Kelsea Ballerini read off the names of six victims of a school shooting killed by a transgender terrorist last Monday in Nashville, Tennessee, which is the home base for CMT and much of the country-music industry. Ballerini noted how she shared their pain, explaining that in 2008 she witnessed a school shooting in her hometown high school cafeteria in Knoxville and prayed for “real action” that would protect children and families.

I think recognizing the 6 killed by the transgender terrorist is fine. I would have hoped for more specificity by what she meant by "real action", she should have just called for armed resource offices in every school and better counseling services and a moratorium on gender change and surgeries.

Yeah, living in the Ozarks I grew up on country music, back in the days when country singers could ACTUALLY SING! Patsy Cline comes to mind. There has never been another voice like hers, A shame she died so young. Since her time country music has devolved into a lot of whining, moaning, “crying in your beer” crap. Now it appears to be going completely down the sewer.
