Clothesline/laundry pro tip...
I was a single parent raising a son from age 4-18. When doing the laundry, I would first allow a load of whites to soak in the washing machine overnight, and then hang them out the next day, once I got home from work. Then, a load of clothes would be exposed to the sun the next day while I was at work, and I would take the clothes down once home. This practice gave me some of the whitest clothes known to mankind and womenkind on the planet. And the smell of the garments was heavenly and could not be replicated in any other form of laundry washing.
