Today is the opening day of Baseball season, who is your favorite team.
World Series 2023 - Los Angeles Angels v St. Louis Cardinals........
Too cold for baseball. Even in New York, it’s in the low 40s today.
Its raining in LA. Dodgers vs Snakes may be postponed
Sadly, the Pirates. Our owner is a cheapskate. No chance
Was a big fan in the 70s and 80s.
Lost interest after the 94 strike. Never went back like it was.
I passively root for the Angles, but I’m just not interested much.
The Detroit Tigers have officially been eliminated.
Of course, the Mariners. Who will very likely disappoint us again.
Same s***, different year.
Grew up as a Rangers fan. My aunt used to live next to old Arlington Stadium. I would go visit her during the summer, and me and my cousins would go to the games. You used to be able to get into the games for free after the 7th inning. We would wait outside the gates until then. Good times.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I miss the old Arlington Stadium. First game I went to there, Nolan Ryan pitched.
WAS the Cleveland Indians up until July 23, 2021
After that, the Woke Pricks can ESAD!!!!
2016 is the last year any of the four Detroit franchises won a Post-Season game. And the only post-season appearance since then was the Pistons in 2019, when they were swept by the Bucks.
i know but i still call ‘em Indians. Guardians sound stoopid.
Go Royals!
I know, the magic happens once every twenty years.
Yes they start the season too early. Ever year , it’s a roll of the dice, as to whether they will have good baseball weather most of the country in late March in early April.
And at the other end of the season, playoffs and World Series again it’s a roll of the dice, because they play it so late into the fall.
None anymore.
When they refused to play because the fugitive rapist with a knife in Wisconsin who was terrorizing his former victims was shot by police it was over for me.
Angels. But really enjoy some minor league games also. Oh, and the Savannah Bananas are a lot of fun.
The first full game that I ever went to, he pitched a 1 hitter against the White Sox. I still have the ticket stub.
I got to see Nolan pitch in Baltimore. It was the first year that Camden Yards was open. Nolan was nearing retirement.
Awesome experience.
Got to see Frank Howard, though.
