MANCHESTER, NH — Formers New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie slammed Donald Trump on Monday during his first trip to New Hampshire this year, when he held the door open to entering the GOP presidential primary against his former ally and signaled he had until June would decide.
In a nearly two-hour town hall at St. Anselm College’s New Hampshire Institute of Politics, Christie said Trump’s name more than 20 times, attacking and taunting the former president for his efforts to overturn the 2020 election he lost political acumen and blamed him for Republican losses at midterms 2022. Christie also presented himself as uniquely well-placed to take on Trump.

When asked about his response to Christie’s attacks, Trump spokesman Steven Cheung replied, “Who is that?”

At City Hall, Saul Shriber, 67, stood up and asked Christie why he didn’t try to take down Trump in 2016. Shriber had backed Christie in the New Hampshire primary and said he was disappointed when the governor finally backed Trump.
Christie said he owned that mistake, calling it a “strategic mistake” and saying he believed he could help Trump become a better candidate and president after supporting him. “None of us knew what kind of president he would or wouldn’t really be,” Christie said.

CC is a nonstarter.........
“Who is that ?”
LOL
When they attack Trump they are attacking me. The GOPe is dead to me after Trump.
The clown who recommended his lawyer, Christopher Wray, for FBI Director, has no place in the Republican Party.
May he soak up the Never Trumper funds and waste them all on donuts.
As a Trump supporter who looks forward to Christie entering the 2024 primaries.
I have a short message for the future ‘roadkill’ candidate:
“Bring it on, Fatty!”
Talk about past his prime.

Should it be former?
Based on polls, I think everyone besides Trump and DeSantis are in single digits in polling. I wonder what the cutoff percentage would be?
Well, that's a question for Ronna McRomney. I'd also ask her what she has been doing the past two years to reform the debates so that there is not a moderator, just a timekeeper so that the Dem candidate doesn't have a 6th man on the court.
Was Christie angry that his favorite Do-Nut shop ran out of Do-Nuts?
Christie has no chance of winning. I wonder if he draws from Trump or from DeSantis. His personality is more like Trumps. And his political base is in NJ, across the river from Trumps former home. Maybe he will hurt Trump more than DeSantis.
1) pretend to run for president
2) insult Trump
3) raise money from wealthy NeverTrumper donor class
4) have zero chance of getting a single vote
5) profit
